What Controls You?
As Christians we live under grace, not law. We enjoy a certain freedom of choice and commitment. But Paul reminds us that our choices and commitments, while freely made, do not always bring freedom (1 Cor. 6:12). Often they overpower us: we no longer possess our possessions—they possess us. I heard a phrase this morning that I wanted to share, I hope it touches you with the same annointing it blessed me with this morning:
Let them see your brokenness, let them see cracks in your armor, that is how the light gets out.
Isaiah 64: 8 And yet, O Lord, you are our Father. we are the clay and You are the Potter We are all formed by your hand.

Leona Williams has become a hero to me where Country Music is concerned. I love the music of Leona Williams. In the last couple of years I have had the opportunity and the blessing of realizing the greatness of not only the music of Leona Willams but also great and strong writing of this very talented artist. She has a style all of her own where vocals are concerned. In studying her music, it has taught me many new and wonderful vocal techniques. Not only…

I'm sure you have heard the saying "God works in mysterious ways." In being a Nashville Singer/Songwriter it can be a tough row to hoe. Just like anywhere else in the world, The World Of Entertainment has been said to be the toughest career there is. In my case, the same holds true. I cry out to the Lord to give me direction, wisdom and strength. Every time I prepare for a performance, I pray that God will give me the right words to say and the right songs…

In Scottsboro, Alabama at a local Methodist church a local minister was admonished to mention Jesus Christ less in his sermons, by the Churches advisory board in Chattanooga,Tenn. Or they would ask hi to "stop playing preacher". The pastor respectfully resigned. He was offered another pastor's position, in a nearby town.
America, It's time to Praise God and thank Jesus for dying on the cross to save us of our sins, Don't you agree.
Your thoughts…

(Repent and be baptized, in the name of Jesus Christ so that…

We sat in our Doctor's Office! My wife had just had a heart attack in a local theater in Pigeon Forge, Tn. She had been on the floor for 7-10 minutes. God had a nurse at the theater at 10:30 in the morning, That was a blessing in itself. The nurse found no breathing, no pulse. I prayed. I cried out to God: "If you have a purpose for her on this earth, Please bring her back, If her purpose is finished-Please take her to heaven."
The nurse continued to do compressions…

Hello Everyone,
I'm new to ICCAN and am glad to be here. I'd like to share a song that I co-wrote with a very good friend of mine (Jan Wenick) called, "Stronger at the Broken Places." Please take a listen and let me know what you all think.
