"The spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; He hath sent me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;...."   I would like to let everyone know that I am available to preach and/or do music for your church or event. I can do Saturday or Sunday night service and would also like to do some three day Revivals (Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday night). You can always message me here at ICCAN or on Facebook or call me at 405-320-0055 to schedule a service date and time. I have Bible & guitar....will travel. ~Walker

JUST FOR TODAY: I looked in my barn today looking for some things I had stored away. It was amazing to discover what the dust and the moths and the mice had done to some of my stored up treasures. There were even a few things missing that I'm sure I had put in there. I don't know why I was so surprised because Jesus said, "Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt and where thieves do not break through nor steal." He also told us that our hearts would be where our treasure was. Where is your heart today; is it in the barn or is it in Heaven? (Matthew 6:19-21) ~Walker

JUST FOR TODAY: What should you do about someone who speaks evil about you, someone one who hates you, they despitefully use you, and persecute you?? Jesus said that we should Love them; we should speak good of them and not speak evil about them in return; and that we should pray for them. Why should we be so good to others who have treated us so badly? Because we are children of the most high God and we should follow His example. He makes the sun to rise on the evil and the good, and He sends rain on the just and the unjust. He forgave you, didn't He? Be like your Father who is in Heaven. (Matthew 5: 44-48) ~Walker

JUST FOR TODAY: There is a day coming for the proud and the wicked, and that day will burn like an oven. Those who are without reverence for God and no respect for Him will be burned up from head to toe. BUT.... for you who reverence God Almighty and respect His name, the Sun of righteousness shall arise with healing in his wings; you shall not perish and you shall continue on in eternal life with everything you could possibly need. Jesus didn't stay dead and He won't stay gone! He is coming back for those who believe in Him and obey His commandments. Don't you think it's time to chunk the prideful attitude and the wicked ways? That day may be coming sooner than you think. (Malachi 4:1-2) ~Walker

Zec 14:6  When that time comes, there will no longer be cold or frost,
Zec 14:7  nor any darkness. There will always be daylight, even at nighttime. When this will happen is known only to the LORD.

JUST FOR TODAY: Have you ever done anything wrong? Have you committed actions in your life for which you need mercy and forgiveness? Do yourself a favor today and forgive someone who has wronged YOU. Maybe it's someone who hurt your feelings; maybe they made you angry; maybe they owe you money; whatever it is you really need to show them mercy and forgiveness because you will get more out of it than than they will. For if you forgive others, God will also forgive you; But if you don't forgive others, then God will not forgive you either. God is very serious about that reaping and sowing thing. (Matthew 6:14-15) ~Walker

JUST FOR TODAY: You don't have to chase after prosperity. Prosperity will chase after you if you live your life the way God says to live it. You will be blessed if you don't live by the advise of the ungodly; don't follow the ways of those who live against God's will; don't sit around and join in with those who are scornful, bitter, and complaining. Instead of living this way, take delight in the ways of the Lord; think on His ways both day and night. Live in this manner and you will always be fruitful and constantly growing; and everything that you do will prosper!! Jesus told us to always seek the Kingdom of God first, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. (Psalms 1:1-3, Matthew 6:33) ~Walker

Act 16:29 The jailer called for a light, rushed in, and fell trembling at the feet of Paul and Silas.
Act 16:30 Then he led them out and asked, "Sirs, what must I do to be saved?"
Act 16:31 They answered, "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved---you and your family."
Act 16:32 Then they preached the word of the Lord to him and to all the others in the house.

Act 16:9  That night Paul had a vision in which he saw a Macedonian standing and begging him, "Come over to Macedonia and help us!"
Act 16:10  As soon as Paul had this vision, we got ready to leave for Macedonia, because we decided that God had called us to preach the Good News to the people there.

The world is in need of "Salty Christians".  Matthew 5:13 "You are the salt of the earth..."  The world is in greater need today than ever for the seasoning of the gospel. In Jesus' time, salt was one of the most precious commodities.  It was even used a currency in some parts of the world.  The Holy Spirit fills the willing Christian with the seasoning he or she needs to be salt to the world.  Salt has many wonderful properties:  It creates a thirst in those exposed to it; it permeates anything it touches; it purifies; it preserves; and it brings out the best in food.  Christians are to be like salt, we need to create a thirst for Jesus in those we contact, we should have a positive effect on the lives we touch and above all we should leave a the good taste of the gospel when we are gone.  God calls on Christians to be thermostats, not thermometers, in the world around us.  We are the instruments that God can use to implement change in a wicked world.  When we lose our saltiness, when we cease to function as the salt of the world, we have become good for nothing.  We have lost our usefulness to god.  Thee is a tremendous need today for every child of God to be all the Father wants him or her to be.  We need to focus on the business of purifying, preserving, penetrating, pleasing, and promoting so that the Lord can use our lives and our testimonies for His glory.  May God continue to make us "Salty Christians", to be happy and productive for His kingdom and His glory.

Wonderful day of outreach for COWBOY CHURCH @ Bi-Lo Shopping Center, Clearwater. Met many good people! One young man professed Christ and a lady needed assurance of her Salvation!

Act 1:8 But when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, you will be filled with power, and you will be witnesses for me in Jerusalem, in all of Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."

JUST FOR TODAY: Do not be afraid today because God is with you: Do not be all upset and worried because HE IS YOUR GOD!! Will He strengthen you? YES!! Will He help you? YES!! Will He lift you up with His right hand of righteousness?? YES HE WILL!!! When we get down and out it sometimes seems there is no way or no one who can come to our aid and help us, but God hears about our situations even before we call out to Him. He is OUR God and He WILL NOT forsake His children who put their Trust in Him. (Isaiah 41:10,17) ~Walker

Deu 33:29  [God's people], how happy you are! There is no one like you, a nation saved by the LORD. The LORD himself is your shield and your sword, to defend you and give you victory. Your enemies will come begging for mercy, and you will trample them down.

JUST FOR TODAY: God has given all of us a great responsibilty in the behalf of the Lord Jesus; not only must we believe on him, but we must also allow him to use our life for HIS sake as He sees fit. Sometimes we get to thinking that we know the right ways and the right answers without listening to the Holy Spirit or reading our Bibles, but this kind of thinking always leads to disapointment, defeat, disaster, and distruction!! No one comes to the Father except through Jesus Christ. "Through" Him means by the death and shedding of His Blood, by His resurrection from the dead, and obeying the life and the path that HE choses. "suffering for Jesus" means that you no longer get to do it YOUR way. (philippians 1:29) ~Walker

JUST FOR TODAY: No one can keep alive his own soul. I don't care how smart you are, I don't care how much money you have, I don't care how strong you think you are, if you put your faith and trust in yourself you are doomed. Jesus has been with the Father since the beginning of time and through Him ALL things were made. He is the light, the truth, and the way...the only way. He made you,He knows how to fix you, and He has done what it takes to give you eternal life. No one comes to the Father in Heaven except through Jesus Christ. Don't ever put your Faith or Trust in anyone or anything else. (Psalm 22:29, John 1:1-4, John 14:6) ~Walker

JUST FOR TODAY: What do we discuss and visit about when we get together one on one or in a group with our friends? Do we only allow conversation that is uplifting and becoming to the Gospel of Christ or do we let our tongues wag out of control? We must remember that EVERYONE, including the Lord Jesus will hear of your affairs and the things that you talk about. Let's not get involved in such conversations that lead to back biting and gossip. Instead, let us stand solid in the Holy Spirit, with one mind which is the mind of Christ!! If we don't do this and start working together, how can we ever lead unbelievers to have Faith in the Gospel?? (Philippians 1:27) ~Walker
