Living

There comes a time in life when you walk away from all of the drama and the people who create it.

You surround yourself with people who make you laugh, forget the bad, focus on the good, love the people  treat you right, pray for the ones who don't.

Life is to short to be anyting but happy. Falling down is a part of life but getting back up is living.

Ernest Tubb tribute

My tribute to Uncle Ernest last Saturday was a big success.  Everyone did a great job and gave the audience 90 minutes of the best Ernest Tubb music that's been heard in quite awhile.  The great Jack Green surprised me by dropping by and singing WALKING THE FLOOR OVER YOU.  My beautiful wife, Dottie, Johnny Counterfeit, Karen Wheeler, Sandra Lee Burdick, Lucky Tubb and the Modern Day Troubadours, plus the fabulous lead guitar of Leon Rhodes, made for an unforgettable evening.  The entire…

You took my place

One day, a man went to visit a church, He got there early, parked his car and got out. Another car pulled up near the driver got out and said, " I always park there!
