Matthew 8:13
"...Go thy way; and as thou hast believed so be it done unto thee..."

As thou has believed
So be it unto thee
Satan can not steal our promise
And from us he must flee

So go your way believing
Every word the scripture proclaims
Knowing that believing God
Shall never be cause for shame

JUST FOR TODAY: It is truly a beautiful day today; one that the Lord hath made!! Today is a day of FREEDOM!! We should all be so very Thankful for the Freedom that we have in this country. The greatest political Freedom we have is to Worship God Almighty at the church of our choice. Most of the time, Americans associate Freedom with Independance, and that is true in regard to being under the control of a foreign nation; but real Freedom comes from "dependance" on God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. The Word of God tell us that when Jesus sets us Free that we are "Free indeed". I hope all of you will exercise your Freedom today and tell someone about the real Freedom in Jesus Christ. Dependance on Him Gives us Freedom from the Law of Sin and Death. GIVE HIM PRAISE!!  ~ Walker

JUST FOR TODAY: You MUST spend time alone with the Lord if you want to unscramble your thoughts and smooth out your day. Never let anything or anyone come between you and the Lord. You must be willing to fight for this time with Jesus, because there are so many things that are fighting to keep you from Him and they come in many forms: your selfish desire to follow your own agenda; Satan's determination to distract you; pressure from friends, family, and your employer to spend more time with them and be more "productive". Don't ever forget that the most productive time of your life is when you spend it with the Lord. When you get to the point in your life that you want to please Jesus more than anything else in the world, then strength, delight, peace, and productivity will multiply one hundred fold. (Psalm 48:9, Psalm 37:4) ~Walker

Luk 15:27 The servant told him, 'Your brother has come home, and your father has killed the fattened calf because he got him back safely.'
Luk 15:28 "Then the older son became angry and wouldn't go into the house. So his father came out and began to plead with him.

Matthew 3:17-4:1
"And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.  Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of he devil."

Sometimes it's when we're at our best
That Satan tempts and tries
But rest assured that God in heaven
Hears our faintest cries

He will not leave you nor forsake you
No matter the wilderness you're in
For He has given us the blood
To makes us victors over sin

Ezekiel 33:33
"And when this cometh to pass, (lo, it will come,) then shall they know that a prophet hath been among them."

The Lord may speak through you
Use your lowly voice
And give the ones you speak to
The right to make their choice

But whether they heed you or not
Eventually they will know
That a prophet has been among them
For God, the truth to them will show

JUST FOR TODAY: Be of good cheer today!! Jesus Christ appeared on this earth for one reason, and that was to destroy the work of the devil in us. Satan attacked us with Sin and Death, but God counter attacked the Devil by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful man to be a "sin offering" for us!! Who do you think won that battle?? Thank God, Jesus did!!! Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those of us who are in Christ Jesus. Because of Him, we have been set FREE from the law of sin and death for now we live under the law of the Spirit of Life!! Are you still living under the law of sin and death? If you are, that's a very poor choice. God recommends that you choose LIFE, but it's your choice.....make it count because it truly is eternal Life or Death at stake for you. (1 John 3:8, Romans 8:1-4) ~Walker

Psa 33:20 We wait on the LORD; he is our help and our shield.
Psa 33:21 Indeed, our heart will rejoice in him, because we have placed our trust in his holy name.
Psa 33:22 LORD, may your gracious love be upon us, even as we hope in you.

Zec 14:6 "At that time, the daylight will be neither bright nor overcast.
Zec 14:7 It will be a unique day, known only to the LORD—neither daytime nor nighttime—and it will come about at twilight there will be light!
Zec 14:8 At that time, flowing waters will run perennially from Jerusalem, half toward the Dead Sea and half to the Mediterranean Sea.
Zec 14:9 The LORD will be king over all the earth at that time. There will be one LORD, and his name the only one.

2 Kings 1:3
"But the angel of the Lord said to Elijah the Tishbite, Arise, go up to meet the messengers of the king of Samaria, and say unto them, Is it not because there is not a God in Israel, that ye go to enquire of Baal-zebub the god of Ekron."

The King of Samaria sent his men
To seek counsel of another god
That's when the God of Israel
Gave Elijah the nod

To go and intercept them
And let them know the dongers
Of seeking other gods
The gods of foreign strangers

James 4:17
"Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin."

We can't say we didn't know
The difference between right and wrong
That won't work with the Father
And He won't stand for that for long

So if you know what's right
And if you do it not
You may be close to judgment
Like our brother Lot

JUST FOR TODAY: There is no way you can dread a day that is vibrant with the Presence of God. When you stay focused on God, you don't ask questions like, "Can I handle all the problems this day is going to bring??" You KNOW that you can face, overcome, and conquer ANYTHING the day may bring when the Lord has a hold of you with His strong right hand. There is no stress or fear when you face your circumstances with the confidence that God will never leave you or forsake you. His Faithfulness allows you to live this beautiful day He has given you with Joyfulness and Peace. (Psalm 5:3, Psalm 63:1, Philippians 4:13) ~Walker

2 Timothy 3:13
"But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived."

Evil men and seducers
We have with us today
And we will have them when the trumpet sounds
And we're all caught away

They are going to get worse
According to the scripture
God's giving us fair warning
He's painting us a picture

JUST FOR TODAY: Some days when hard times fall on us, our human instinct is to doubt the goodness of God. But God's Word tells us to "Taste and see that I am Good". This is an invitation for us to experience His living Presence and with the Promise that the more we experience His Presence, the more we will be convinced of His Goodness. We don't always understand how God is working in our life b...ecause His ways are higher than our ways. This means it is pointless to try to understand all that God is doing. Instead, let's put our Trust in the Father who really does know what's best for us. We can always spend time enjoying and experiencing the goodness of God, no matter what our circumstances may be. 1 Corinthians 15:58
"Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that our labour is not in vain in the Lord."

If you are laboring for the Lord
The fruit, one day you will reap
No matter how barren it looks
No matter how bleak

For He has promised
Our labour is not in vain
And if we don't give up
The victory we will surely gain

Luk 15:18 I will get up and go to my father and say, "Father, I have sinned against God and against you.

JUST FOR TODAY: I don't know about you but I need to rest in the Lord. Many of us have traveld some pretty steep and rugged paths in our life, and sometimes it seems it will never let up. We never know what lies ahead of us either, and that uncertainty alone sometimes causes us much stress and anxiety. Maybe we need not to look back at all the rough roads behind us nor the unknown ahead of us, and keep our attention focused on our constant compainion, the Lord Jesus. If we will just put our Trust in Him, He will equip us for whatever awaits. There is no darkness or unthruth in our Lord, and He has promised to be with us always, watching over us wherever we go. "For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries."

When the Lord opens your door of opportunity
Many foes may lay at your feet
But the Lord will make a way for you
When the adversary you meet

For greater is He that is in you
Than he that is in the world
And God will give us the victory
If our cares on Him, we have hurled
