JUST FOR TODAY: Give Him Praise and never doubt your Salvation!! God has it all worked out for you. "You were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the Gospel of of your Salvation", and "Having believed, you were marked in Him (Jesus) with a seal". That "seal" is the promised Holy Spirit, "who is a deposit GUARANTEEING our inheritance. The Guarantee is Eternal, and the deposit i...s good "until the redemption of those who are God's possession-to the praise of His Glory." You don't have to put up the deposit; God does it for you. You don't have to buy an extended warranty, all you have to do is Believe and put your Trust in Jesus and accept God's Grace!! If you are one of God's "possession", you are truly blessed. If you are not, what's the hold up?? (Ephesians 1:13-14) ~Walker

1 Chronicles 17:23
"Therefore now, Lord, let the thing that thou hast spoken concerning thy servant and concerning his house be established for ever, and do as thou hast said."

If from the Lord, you have a promise
To Him you can pray it back
And be sure to get your answer
And have to suffer no lack

If you have not received a promise
Stay in the word day and night
And He will surely speak to you
Make all your wrong things right

God intends every church to be like a sounding board,
bouncing off the vibrations of the gospel, or like a
telecommunications satellite which first receives and then transmits messages.

In fact, this is God's simplest plan for world evangelization. If every church had been faithful, the world would long ago have been evangelized.
- John Stott

JUST FOR TODAY: Do not let the overstimulation of "the World" block out your awareness of the Spiritual, unseen World. Give yourself a buffer zone of stillness and quietness so you can stay focused "on things that are unseen". This World still reflects the Glory of God to those who have eyes that see, and ears that hear. If you want to develop Spiritual seeing eyes and hearing ears, you must focus on the Lord and spend some quality quite time with Him. Even though we live out this life in the visible world, this is not our permament home. We must never lose "sight" and always be aware of the "unseen things of God". (2 Corinthians 4:18, Isiah 6:3, Psalm 130:5) ~Walker

Numbers 12:2
"And they said, Hath the Lord indeed spoken only by Moses? Hath he not spoken also by us? And the Lord heard it."

When we talk about our brother
As Miriam thought to do
Our Father in heaven hears us
And sees who we are talking to

He dealt with these two siblings
For stabbing Moses in the back
He dealt with them severely
And got the back on track

For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down. first and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it? Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him, saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish— Luk_14:28-30

Rom 13:12 The night is almost over, and the day is near. Let's therefore put aside the actions of darkness and put on the armor of light.
Rom 13:13 Let's behave decently, as people who live in the light of day. No wild parties, drunkenness, sexual immorality, promiscuity, quarreling, or jealousy!
Rom 13:14 Instead, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus, the Messiah, and do not obey your flesh and its desires.

Psalms 119:165
"Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them."

Do we love thy law
Do we have great peace
Or are we easily offended
Does our happiness easily cease

We should be offended at nothing
Knowing God has our back
Our peace should be great
And our joy shall not lack

Psalms 119:67
"Before I was afflicted I went astray: but now have I kept thy word."

Before I was afflicted
I easily went astray
But now I've learned
To love Him more everyday

I have learned that the word
Will keep me near the master
And cause me to get the victory
Oh, so much faster

JUST FOR TODAY: This is a good day to start letting the Lord get you ready for the day that awaits you and point you down the right path. His guidance is unique for each of His children, so don't listen too much to other people or try to copy someone else's life. Listening to the Holy Spirit is what you must do, and it is vital to your Spiritual, Emotional, and Physical well being. He is with you at ALL times, so you don't have to be intimidated by fear. Fear will always try to stalk you, but it cannot harm you, as long as you hold on the the hand of Jesus. Keep you eyes on the Lord and enjoy the Peace there is in His Presence. (Joshua 1:5, Jude 24-25, Ephesians 3:20-21) ~Walker

Psalms 55:21
"The words of his mouth were smoother than butter, but war was in his heart; his words were softer than oil, yet were they drawn swords."

Oh for discernment
To tell friend from foe
Some can talk the talk
But the walk, they may not know

Jesus committed to no man
For He saw the heart
Knew when to draw close
And knew when to depart

JUST FOR TODAY: Go look at yourself in the mirrow. What do you see?? Are you straight faced with a tight look of stress or even worse, is your face twisted into a scowling frown? It's time to laugh at yourself freely! Don't take yourself OR your circumstances too seriously. Focus on Jesus and desire His will above everything else; you will find life can be joyful and with much less stress tha...n you ever thought possible. Laughter will lighten your load and lift your heart out of the pit of depression and fear. Don't miss the Joy of the Presence of Jesus in your life by trying to carry the weight of the World on your own shoulders. If you can't control the situation, the job belongs to Jesus and you have no business trying to do HIS job or worrying about it! (Matthew 11:28, Proverbs 17:22, 31:25) ~Walker

Psalms 30:11
"Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing:"

There is a time for dancing
There is a time to mourn
Sometimes we feed on manna
Sometimes we feed on corn

Regardless of our circumstance
Regardless of our need
He knows how to feed us
And He knows where to lead

JUST FOR TODAY: My path is different than your path, and your path is different from my path. Don't let anyone convince you that their path is the only right way. On the other hand, don't you try to convince others that your path is superior to theirs. The Lord Jesus has called each of us to travel a path that He has designed just for us. No matter what path Jesus is leading you down, He requires the same thing from all of us; "to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with Him" (Micah 6:8). This means we must stay focused on the Lord as we walk with Justice, Mercy, and humility whatever our path may be. ~Walker

1 Chronicles 16:11
"Seek the Lord and his strength, seek his face continually."

Seek the Lord with all your heart
While He may be found
So that when trouble comes
You'll be on solid ground

Seek His face continually
Daily in prayer
And it won't be long until
You'll find He meets you there

1 Samuel 24:12
"The Lord judge between me and thee, and the Lord avenge me of thee: but mine hand shall not be upon thee."

If you wrong me
I will not take revenge
But pray to God in heaven
To take up my cause and avenge

And at the proper time
He will judge between me and thee
He will do the right thing
I'm sure you will agree

JUST FOR TODAY: Stay on the high road today and don't let all the confusion in this old world divert you to take another path.  Stay focused on Jesus for He has called you to walk closely with Him.  By walking in His Spirit you are able to soak up His Presence, and if you live in His Presence, you will also be able to live in His Peace.  The Peace that Jesus gives is above all of our capabilities of understanding, but it is so real and there is nothing sweeter in life than living in that Peace.  Please don't let the Devil drag you down in the pits of stress and depression when Jesus has designed you to live in His Peace since before the beginning of time.  (Ephesians 2:10) ~Walker
