Ten years ago our oldest son was having a bad reaction to mold and was in the hospital alot! We knew that we needed to get him into a safer environment and so launched a project called ahouseformykids.com That led to us finding The Christian Country music Assoc. and there we met Tommy Brandt, Russ Murphy, Mary James, Dwayne (Teddy Bear ) Williams, Robert and Paul of Branded, and many more...At the time we were all about our cause...but The Lord would soon take care of that! Soon after, we surrendered our cause back to Him and knew that we were called into full time music ministry. Not to go telling of our our need for a special house for our kids but to tell of His Mercy and Grace in the lives of a couple who used to pay Him no mind at all! One of our first dates to go sing and share our testimony was in Graham, Tx.and then to Waxahachie, Tx. and then later to Lubbock, Tx.
God has so profoundly used the Cowboy Church to show us so many things...foremost the Love of Christ. We will be writing a book about how life changing and miraculous this season of our life has been...and more than one chapter will be about the precious people that God has brought into our lives through The Christian Country Music Assoc. and The Cowboy Church. God has gotten out His crayons and drawn us a picture of our being adopted in to the Kingdom...Thank You Lord! Please call me...I'd love to tell you more! We have been in over 1400 churches in the last 9 years and half of them have been cowboy churches! Thank you for this awesome resource to connect to our Cowboy Church Family! 615 668-3908
How did you find out about ICCAN?
online....we now are under their covering for our 501 C 3 and it has been a great partnership. We have our own EIN number. ICCAN put me through an assessment process that could assure them of the calling that God had placed on my life and then they walked me through the process of attaining our non profit 501 C 3 status. Call me if you have any questions. I can tell you they made it much easier and timely than if I had tried to dance with the IRS on my own. I am so thankful to Jan, Elizabeth and everyone at ICCAN for their ministry.
