What is Wisdom? Some folks think it means having the right answers. Some folks think it means knowing the truth. Just knowing the right answers and knowing the truth is not Wisdom; and just "knowing" is not going to help you very much. The "knowing" has to be followed up by the "doing" for it to be "Wisdom". You see Wisdom is very closely tied to FAITH. You will not do something if you don't have faith in it will…

A nation is not x amount of real-estate; a nation is a land filled with people; people are what makes a nation. A church is not a church because it is a nice building with a steeple and a cross on it; a church building only becomes a church when it is filled with believing people who are worshiping and seeking God. And you are not a whole person and a child of God without the Spirit of Jesus Christ living within you;…

Every human being (yes, even me and you) has been provided with a way of access unto the very Presence of God. His name is JESUS....and Jesus is not "a" way; Jesus is the "ONLY" way!! "For God so loved the world (mankind) that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." ~John 3:16 I challenge you to speak the name of Jesus with Joy and Truth as many…

Had a great devotional today...thought I would share: It was talking about "leftovers" and how mom can reinvent your dinner to make it new again. The Spiritual nugget was that sometimes we need to step back far enough to let God work without hindrance...when we do, the promise that "All things work together for good..." suddenly becomes a reality in our lives. Blessings!!! jan

Man....am I tired this morning!!! I sure would like to lay up and worship Saint Mattress this morning, wouldn't you?? BUT if I did I wouldn't get to preach two sermons this morning and praise God with THE TRIPLE CROSS BAND. What a blessing I would miss not getting to Love on God, Love on my Church Family, and tell somebody about Jesus!!! I think I'll get up and head for 4092 Norge Road, Chickasha, Oklahoma; that's…

One morning Jesus walked along the edge of Lake Galilee and beckoned to a few local fishermen. He said, “Follow me” (Matthew 4:19). At that moment, everything began for them. ‘Everything’ had only been fish, and then it became people, action, and changing world history, with ever-increasing faith, ever-increasing effects. Jesus did not call them, you, or me, to switch off our smiles and to wear sackcloth. It was not to…

You are way off base if you are "serving the Lord" because you think it's the right thing to do!! Remember the prodigal son (Luke 15)?? The son came home to be the Father's servant, but the Father wouldn't have it that way. He wasn't looking for a servant, he was looking for a his Son!!! Your Heavenly Father is looking for sons and daughters as well. Being a child of God must come first. That must be our top…
