Scars, decisions, failures, stumbling, the daily work of the job are all part of life. The old wounds are there and man must live with them. At times they still may ache, and the heart still feels it. A glance in the mirror, the scar is seen, the memory returns. There may even be once again the thought of remorse.
The aches come and I take some Advil, reach in the cabinet for the liniment, rub it on the aches, and hobble on, always forward. Thank the good Lord for that…Continue

Follow-up to my testimony...
God has once again worked miraculously on my behalf in the past year (besides saving me and my daughter from ruin).

I received Jesus as my Lord back in 1960 when I was 9 years old. My childhood was spent in church and I loved the Lord. But my love waxed cold when I became a rebellious teenager. I was also a bi-polar but back in those days, there were no diagnosis to describe my condition other than anxiety/depression.
I went thru 3 marriages in my early 20's. Experimented with drugs, sex, alcohol but never…Continue
My wife and I were camping a couple of years ago near the Utah/Wyoming border. The first night a storm came up, the winds blew and the rain came down. Annie asked if the tent was going to be blown away. I assured her that it would not blow away since we were in it, but did tell her that if might come down.
The next morning, ahhh, the air was clear and crisp, the sun shining down, and there was a wonderful freshness. We sat around the fire before breakfast, drinking coffee and…Continue
I have but one purpose in life and that purpose is to become more like the Lord Jesus..." Not to become Him..but rather be more becomming to him",...the only reason I can see for the Lord to allow me to rise-up one more morning or draw one more breath of air, is to be in-filled with his Spirit.
As Chirstians we have things..."Things don't have us."...We often start out…Continue

What Controls You?
As Christians we live under grace, not law. We enjoy a certain freedom of choice and commitment. But Paul reminds us that our choices and commitments, while freely made, do not always bring freedom (1 Cor. 6:12). Often they overpower us: we no longer possess our possessions—they possess us. We can be consumed by our jobs, our wealth, our houses, our hobbies, even our churches.
Are there any ways to manager this problem? Here are a few…Continue

I heard a phrase this morning that I wanted to share, I hope it touches you with the same annointing it blessed me with this morning:
Let them see your brokenness, let them see cracks in your armor, that is how the light gets out.
Isaiah 64: 8 And yet, O Lord, you are our Father. we are the clay and You are the Potter We are all formed by your hand.
Jeremiah 18: 3 - 6 I did as He told me and…Continue

She has a style all of her own where vocals are concerned. In studying her music, it has taught me many new and wonderful vocal techniques. Not only…Continue
I'm sure you have heard the saying "God works in mysterious ways." In being a Nashville Singer/Songwriter it can be a tough row to hoe. Just like anywhere else in the world, The World Of Entertainment has been said to be the toughest career there is. In my case, the same holds true. I cry out to the Lord to give me direction, wisdom and strength. Every time I prepare for a performance, I pray that God will give me the right words to say and the right songs…Continue
In Scottsboro, Alabama at a local Methodist church a local minister was admonished to mention Jesus Christ less in his sermons, by the Churches advisory board in Chattanooga,Tenn. Or they would ask hi to "stop playing preacher". The pastor respectfully resigned. He was offered another pastor's position, in a nearby town.
America, It's time to Praise God and thank Jesus for dying on the cross to save us of our sins, Don't you agree.
