Galatians 1:9
"As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed."

There's a new set of teaching
Skipping round the land
It's not been born of God
It's been born of man

They say we should not suffer
Never have any lack
They're quite a large group now
They call themselves saddleback

2 Corinthians 12:9
"Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong."

When I am weak
Then I am strong
It sounds so impossible
It sounds so wrong

But since it is written
In God's holy word
I know it's a fact
I know whom I've heard

JUST FOR TODAY: Jesus was not just another good teacher, good story teller, or prophet. He was Jesus CHRIST....savior of mankind and the Son of God. Do you believe this?? If you do, the Word says that you are born of God, and everyone who Loves the Father Loves His child as well. (1 John 5:1) How do we prove that we Love the Father and the Son?? The Word says, "This is Love for God: to obey His commands." (1 John 5:3) We should have a much higher view of the word "obey". The world today does not pay much attention to "obedience", but you should....that is if you truly want to overcome this old sinful, fallen world. We do not obey God to become His child, we obey God because we ARE His child. Give Him your Love and Praise today!! ~Walker

Act 10:38 You know about Jesus of Nazareth and how God poured out on him the Holy Spirit and power. He went everywhere, doing good and healing all who were under the power of the Devil, for God was with him.

JUST FOR TODAY: Do you ever have feelings that you wished you didn't have?? .....or feelings that you know that you shouldn't have?? Do not hide from your feelings or pretend they are not there because that will only cause you to have more fear and anxiety. Bring ALL of you feelings, good or bad, into the Light of the Presence of Jesus. That way, you can deal with your feelings together with Him. Concentrate on your Faith and be always Trusting in Him. Wrong or bad feelings will eventually lose their foothold on your life. Use your shield of Faith freely to quench all those firey darts the enemy slings your way!! Feelings will always fall in line with your FAITH!! (Ephesians 6:16) ~Walker

2Pe 1:2 May grace and peace be yours in full measure through your knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.
2Pe 1:3 God's divine power has given us everything we need to live a truly religious life through our knowledge of the one who called us to share in his own glory and goodness.
2Pe 1:4 In this way he has given us the very great and precious gifts he promised, so that by means of these gifts you may escape from the destructive lust that is in the world, and may come to share the divine nature.

Acts 18:9-10
"Be not afraid, but speak, and hold not thy peace: For I am with thee, and no man shall set on thee to hurt thee: for I have much people in this city."

If God be for us
Whom shall we fear
No need to fear man
When help is oh, so near

When your trodding up your mountain
To your place of need
Your provision is traveling
At the same speed!!

John 7:43
"So there was a division among the people because of him."

When you begin to follow Jesus
With all our heart and mind
Be ready for divisions
For some won't be very kind

Not all professing Christians
Really want His will
Some just try to bargain
And with Him make a deal

2Pe 1:5 For this very reason do your best to add goodness to your faith; to your goodness add knowledge;
2Pe 1:6 to your knowledge add self-control; to your self-control add endurance; to your endurance add godliness;
2Pe 1:7 to your godliness add Christian affection; and to your Christian affection add love.
2Pe 1:8 These are the qualities you need, and if you have them in abundance, they will make you active and effective in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
2Pe 1:9 But if you do not have them, you are so shortsighted that you cannot see and have forgotten that you have been purified from your past sins.
2Pe 1:10 So then, my friends, try even harder to make God's call and his choice of you a permanent experience; if you do so, you will never abandon your faith.

JUST FOR TODAY: "Dear friends, let us Love one another, for Love comes from God. Everyone who Loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not Love does not know God, because God IS Love. This is how God showed His Love among us: He sent His one and only Son into the world that we might live through Him." (1 John 4:7-9). "Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to Love one another" (1 John 4:11). If we are alive through Jesus Christ, we should also be Loving through Him as well. Stop looking at others with your eyes of the flesh and start looking at others with the Loving Spiritual eyes of He who is in you. ~Walker

Mark 9:23
"Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth."

You must believe the Lord
No matter what you see
For believing is receiving
This word tells you and me

All things are possible
When in Him we trust
In order to receive His promise
Trust in Him you must

JUST FOR TODAY: How do you recognize the Spirit of Truth and the spirit of falsehood?? The spirit of falsehood is exactly that; it is a lie!! Any spirit or teaching that does not acknowledge Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is a lie and is the spirit of antichrist!! "You have heard (the spirit of antichrist) is coming and even now is already in the world." (1 John 4:3). But "....you ...are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world." (1 John 4:4). You recognize the Spirit of Truth because you belong to God and you listen to the the things of God instead of listening to the lies of the world. May the Good Lord be with you and protect you from all evil. (1 John 1-6)~Walker

"And he took him aside from the multitude..."

Sometimes we must leave the multitude
To be alone with Him
To hear His still small voice
That we might not follow every whim

We must be grounded in the Lord
And in His precious word
So that when He speaks to us
His voice will surely be heard

Mark 8:23
"And he took the blind man by hand, and led him out of the town.."

It's oh so good to know
That when we are blind
To us the Lord
Will still be kind

He will come to were we are
And take us by the hand
Lead us to the center
Of His loving, perfect plan

JUST FOR TODAY: Wouldn't it be a great day today if you took the time to Love on someone. Make it a very special day and Love on someone who doesn't even Love YOU. You might even lead someone to the Lord doin' that and you will at least make someone else have a better day because everybody likes to be Loved on. The Apostle John wrote in 1 John 4:19 that that is the reason why we Love God, because He first Loved us. Maybe we should follow God's example. "And this commandment have we from Him, That he who loveth god Love his brother also." (1 John 4:21). ~Walker

Habakkuk 2:1
"I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me..."

Oh, how wise the man
That sets upon his tower
And waits upon the word of God
For His instructions every hour

There's great peace in knowing
You have heard from the Father
For once you've heard His voice
Other voices can't thwart or bother

Joh 2:11 Jesus performed this first miracle in Cana in Galilee; there he revealed his glory, and his disciples believed in him.

Daniel 5:20
"But when his heart was lifted up, and his mind hardened in pride, he was deposed from his kingly throne, and they took his glory from him;"

When our heart is lifted up
And we are oh, so full of pride
It's then that we can be sure
Our foot is about to slide

For pride goeth before a fall
On this you can rely
For the word of God is never wrong
This we can't deny
