Profile Information

Please tell us about how you are associated with or involved in the cowboy church/ministry community.
As pastor of the Franklin / Macon United Methodist Churches, Franklin NE. With the help of Nebraska Cowboy Church, Director (Pastor Tim Rush) We reached out to the younger members of the church that had attended church as Youth. Many were still involved with the Family Ranch. But had broken the habit of attending regularly. We introduced them to CowBoy Church. Now three years later the Republican Valley Cowboy Church tells me that often when they meet there is 100 or more attending. Since my retirement, I have moved back to North-East Kansas. Where we had lived for 45 years. Most of our family live near by and all have an interest in working with and showing horses. Along with several other families that I have ministered to as pastor and other Christ Centered involvements! Are now showing great interest in, not abandoning their life long churches. Seeing the comradery and family connections made by other CowBoy Churches. They are asking why not become a CowBoy Church. They are craving the worship and fellowship that is absent in the so called, "Church!" That if there is a Testimony of the Saving Grace of Jesus Christ! and His wonder working Power. That Testimony may be many years old.
How did you find out about ICCAN?
I was inquiring about a Cowboy Church Affiliation. Looking for some, seasoned and confident group. That a CowBoy Church could join and be in Communion with. I had inquired with Cowboy Church.Net. Within minutes information about your group was suggested and this page came up. So far I'm thinking that from your group we could learn from and have perhaps the licensing and knowledge pertaining the legal ends of becoming a Cowboy Church in North-East Kansas or near by! Peace be with you
(The form would not allow me to finish answering) "When did you become a Christian!?"
