Lord please, give me a place

Where I can be still

There’s this whole in my heart

I need you to fill

This place that I want

For you to heal

I have tried other things                                                      

To put there, not real.

Like saddles and horses

 envy and greed

 anger and pride

The things I don’t need.

I guess these things

You already know

Have made this old whole

Just grow and grow

So please help my Lord

Please here my cry.

I ‘m down on my knees

And dying inside,

I am broken my God

Please here my plea.

Take away problem

That I call me.
