The Lord is Good and He's sure blessin' me!!

I smelled something good,

so I went to lookin',

Got corn on the cobb,

and pork chops a cookin'.

Got a cold watermelon

for desert I see.

Oh, the Lord is good

and He's sure blessin' me!!

 

It's cool for July,

But I ain't complainin',

I'm thankful for sure

that it's come a good rainin'. 

The grass will green up

and surely start Growin'

I'm thankful for a good wife

that likes to do all the mowin'!!

So I'll say my prayers

And content I will be,

Because the Lord is good

and He's sure blessin' me!!
