THANKFUL IN OKLAHOMA!!

Out east the sun is shining and rising fast,

Out west a drilling rig is tripping pipe.

Down south lie beautiful rolling hills,

Up north the blackberry patch is ripe!!

 

Outside it's warm and windy

With grasshoppers out in force.

Yesterday I took down the 'lectric fence,

I sure do miss my horse. 

 

Enough time spent just gazing around,

no more coffee in the pot.

Get around old man and head to town,

And be thankful for what you've got!!

I can feel God's presence with me,

And He will forget me not!!

With Praise today, I'm on my way

and yes, I'm thankful for what I've got!!
