JUST FOR TODAY: "If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me." ~Matthew 16:24 "If" means that it's your choice and "any" means available to all with no fine print. To "come after" means to seek after with Love and to "deny" yourself means to empty yourself and surrender completely. The cross is the symbol and the "emblem" of "suffering and shame" and death. To take up your "cross" you will suffer because you can no longer live like YOU want to live, and you will bear the rejection (shame) from friends and family that are not believers, AND you will have to make the old you die daily in order for the "new creature" to live freely. Then, and only then, can you call yourself a true "Follower" of Christ; True Followers are the only True Christians!! ~Pastor Lynn
