A Little About us:

Kent and Shantel have resigned from pastoring a church, when the music ministry started to take off.  Kent has many years experience singing and speaking at various venues around Minnesota. 

We have worked hard to blend 2 families together, he had 3 children, she had 4.  It didn't take too long, and the Lord put it on Shantel's heart to adopt... after talking to Kent about it, Shantel started praying... after a few weeks, Kent agreed to explore the adoption option.  We have adopted 4 medically fragile, special needs children from the foster care system.  They are a blessing to us and our entire family.  We now have 11 children, and who knows if we are done.

 

For several years Kent was playing in "The Cowboy Band" and did many fundraisers, fairs, Cowboy Church services, weekend trailrides, Annual Cowboy Days, and many other events somewhat locally.

He recorded his first cd, "If It Wasn't For The Blood" in 2011.  It is selling extremely well, and has been getting some attention on a National level.  Shantel sent 1 copy off to Tate Music Group of Mustang OK, and within 3 weeks we got a contract in the mail.   After much prayer, we decided to sign with them, and made a trip down to OK in November of 2011 to record.

The new cd "He Gave Me A Friend" will be released the summer of 2012.   We have booked The Sanford Center in Bemidji MN for July 14th for our National Release Concert.

 

The Lord has been opening up many doors for us, He brought together a band, known as "Bended Knee."   We have been invited to come to many of the churches within a few hours of us, and we are now being asked if we will travel more...the answer is YES!!!

We don't just bring music, the music is a means to get us in, we use our testimonies to minister the healing power of our Lord, we talk about how through Jesus Christ, there is amazing forgiveness, chains of fear, anger, rejection.....broken in HIS name.

 

Well that is just a snip-it about us, and what the Lord is doing in and through us.
