God gives us everything we need to "hang in there"! In Isaiah 41:10 it says "I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." He will provide what we need each day, strength, hope for the journey, comfort, assurance, joy, peace...I could go on and on..maybe you would like to add to the list:) blessings, jan

JUST THINKING..."Due Season"...David writes in the Bible.."I trust in You, O Lord; I say, 'You are my God.' My times are in Your hand." I interpret that to mean to me that I must enjoy every day and trust Him for tomorrow. blessings, jan

Our greatest progress comes from our greatest pain; so the Lord doesn't save us from it but strengthens us in it. It's when we pass God's test that He fills us with His joy. Remember pain is inevitable....misery is optional! Blessings! jan

Had a great devotional today...thought I would share: It was talking about "leftovers" and how mom can reinvent your dinner to make it new again. The Spiritual nugget was that sometimes we need to step back far enough to let God work without hindrance...when we do, the promise that "All things work together for good..." suddenly becomes a reality in our lives. Blessings!!! jan

Roy Rogers and his wife, Dale Evans, were devoted Christians. Below is a prayer written by Roy.
Lord, I reckon I'm not much just by myself, I fail to do a lot of things I ought to do. But Lord, when trails are steep and passes high, Help me ride it straight the whole way through.
And when in the falling dusk I get that final call, I do not care how many flowers they send, Above all else, the happiest trail would be, For YOU to say to me, "Let's ride, My Friend." Roy Rogers…

What is "walking"? Pauls says, "We walk by faith and not by sight." Walking requires we get up and move. We can't just sit around waiting for the rapture. Walking involves: Motivation - you're moved by a purpose....Direction - you've chosen a destination, a goal to reach...Motion - you've committed to mobilizing your energy and resources in the pursuit of your God-given destination and purpose....SO LET'S WALK....Blessings, Jan

Hello Everyone...the Lord reminded me of something today and would like to share with you..."God has provided a refuge that's higher than our circumstances, a place where you're under divine protection and the ememy has no jurisdiction." So if you are going through struggles...remember you have a WALL OF PROTECTION AROUND YOU... BE ENCOURAGED AND LIFT YOUR EYES TO HIM!! blessings! jan

Why Should We Be Thankful for God’s Goodness to America?
(2 Corinthians 9:11)
11: Being enriched in everything to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God (King James Version – KJV).
11: You will be made rich in every respect so you may be able to give generously [†when a need arises]. And your generosity, as administered through us [to the…

Are you fearful or faithful...Are you withholding from being faithful with what God has given you? Are you afraid of the bad economy?
CONSIDER THIS...
God doesn’t need a healthy, normal womb for a woman to conceive and bear a child. In Judges 13:2-3 (conception and birth of Samson) the scripture says, “And there was a certain man of Zorah, of the family of the Danites, whose name was Manoah; and his wife was barren, and bare not. And the…

Found this in my Bible study the other day...thought it was worth sharing.
CONSIDER THIS
As believers, we are called to proclaim the message of Christ to unbelievers in the best way we know how, being faithful to the truth. That’s really all that Peter did at Pentecost (Acts 2:14-36), but his speech produced dramatic results: the small band of Christ’s followers added 3,000 believers that day. (Acts 2:41)
In the same way, each of us needs to speak up as…

What Controls You?
As Christians we live under grace, not law. We enjoy a certain freedom of choice and commitment. But Paul reminds us that our choices and commitments, while freely made, do not always bring freedom (1 Cor. 6:12). Often they overpower us: we no longer possess our possessions—they possess us. We can be consumed by our jobs, our wealth, our houses, our hobbies, even our churches.
Are there any ways to manager this problem? Here are a few…
