I woke up this morning and knew that today,

The sun would not be shining

and the clouds would be gray.



As I stepped outside,

Rain fell upon my head.

My car wouldn't start

so I walked to school instead.



I forgot all of my assignments

I failed all of my tests.

I dropped my head in disgust

and asked the Lord for one request.



'Lord, why is it that

things won't go my way?'

He gently replied,

Christians must stay alert with regard to the Enemy. When we are reading the Word, praying, and spending time with other believers, good protection is in place. By reading & memorizing scripture & putting it in action, we have truth in our hearts to shield us against deception. Many challenges we face in life are simply distractions from the enemy to keep us from pursuing our destiny. Maybe someone in the office isn't as friendly as you'd like. Maybe you have a neighbor who always parks in front of your mailbox. Those things may be frustrating, but they have little significance when you look at the big picture of eternity.
