Spreading the love of Jesus...the Cowboy Way!

There are many times when things can make us upset
The stresses of life which we try so hard to forget
Giving in to anger brings nothing but a hardened heart
A serious condition that can tear your life & soul apart
The Word instructs us don’t let the sun go down
In our lives which can leave us with a depressing frown
We are to never to give in to anger or wrath
That only throws us off of righteousness’ path
The Lord knows about the pain this sinful world can bring
But remember, anger doesn’t solve anything
God’s promises of love can seem difficult to concentrate
When one’s life is filled with so much bitterness and hate
What are the results of anger? Rage, guilt and pride
This happens when walls of mistrust are built up inside
When anger is loosed, what are the results for one’s soul:
Peace of mind, calmness, serenity, and complete control
Remember, “vengeance is mine” said the Lord of host
He understands the frustrations of life the most
He tells us to keep our minds on Him at all times
For He will keep you in perfect peace each and every time
