PRAYER REQUEST
My good friend and Brother in Christ James (Peanut) Copes injured his back. He is in a lot of pain. He is going to need a MRI to determine the serverity of his injury. James is a circuit riding preacher for the Cowboy Church Association. A great person and true Man of God. Be in prayer for him and his family. His wife is also going into the hospital next week for surgery. Let's all join together and pray a prayer of healing for James and his wife! Thank you and God Bless.

Dear Lord of Mercy and Father of Comfort,
You are the One I turn to for help in moments of weakness and times of need.
I ask you to be with your servants, James (Peanut) Copes and his wife, in this illness.
Psalm 107:20 says that you send out your Word and heal.
So then, please send your healing Word to your servants.
In the name of Jesus, drive out all infirmity and sickness from their bodies.

Dear Lord, I ask you to turn this weakness into strength,
suffering into compassion, sorrow into joy, and pain into comfort.
May your servants trust in your goodness and hope in your faithfulness,
even in the middle of this suffering.
Let them be filled with patience and joy in your presence as they wait for your healing touch.
Please restore your servants to full health, dear Father. Remove all fear
and doubt from their hearts by the power of your Holy Spirit, and may you, Lord, be glorified through their lives.
As you heal and renew your servants, Lord, may they bless and praise you.
All of this I pray in the name of Jesus Christ.
Amen.

Howdy All,

Please keep us in your prayres.  Casey and I will be leaving January 21st on a Mission Trip to Guatemala and returning February 3rd.  We will be staying and working at Eagle's Nest Mission high above Solo La.  The mission has a school and an orphanage as well as facilities for conferences with missionaries and bible students from the nearby seminary.  We will be helping to paint some of the buildings and maybe help with some repairs.  We will also be teaching at a conference for native Pastor's and their wives on the problems they face concerning how to deal with maritial problems caused by alcoholism, illness, and intense poverty among others in their villages.  I will also be preaching in one of the remote indian churches up in the mountains.  We have already paid for our plane tickets, but we still need funding for our food, lodging, and financial aid for the mission.  We are short at this time about $1200.  If you would like to help us with this need, please send your contrabution to: COWBOY COUNTRY CHURCH, P.O. BOX 551, Chickasha, Oklahoma 73023.   If you have any questions or would like to have more information, please feel free to call us.  My cell is 405-320-0055 and our home number is 405-453-7141. ~Pastor Lynn
