My prayer is for all those who are under a doctors care and for those who are sick or alone and those who may have needs unspoken or even too numerouse to mention....to hat end I pray that we remember that the center peace of the Gospel of Jesus Christ is of our being prepared to become "Kindom Residents" and of the countless times our King Jesus spoke of the Kindom that we are to ready ourselves for.....Being fit to live in this world is not going to be enough if we have not accepted him and turned from those things that would bind us to this world.

It is not enough for us to be known as good citizens as we reside here on earth....we need to emmulate Christ because his Kindom is at hand and we need Kindom readiness so that our mind set will be one of Kingdom residents.....I pray that the Holy Spirit continue to allow us to grow

the hearts and minds that follow after the ways of our Lord in earnest desire and truth...Bro. Steven

Praying for God's will and healing powers for Ann, and peace, comfort, and joy for you Pastor Lynn!

Comment by Pastor Lynn Kirkland on December 4, 2011 at 7:33pm

Please pray for Ann, my wife, as she prepares for colon surgery.  Dr. called Friday and said she has to have a cardiac clearance before she can have the surgery.  Pray fo strength as she goes through all the poking and proding.  Colon cancer seems to be contained and in early stages.  Surgery on the 13th.  Ann and I covet all of your prayers.  In His grace, Pastor Lynn Kirkland

Please remember our family in prayer. My first cousin Gayland McGuire was killed last night in a car accident. Thanks so much.

Aimee, We are praying for you daily. I do think it would be good for you to contact the State of Texas Landlord Tenant department. I believe you should be able to access that information by calling 211 from any landline in Texas. Landlord Tenant can provide information on what the Landlord can add to your rent, as well as inform you of all your rights and responsibilites.

What are the other families doing for heat? You had mentioned that they were without gas as well. Do they have the same landlord?

Comment by Aimee Medford on December 3, 2011 at 10:43am

Becki, I am not talking to anyone from the city. I am getting my information from the man who owns the property that we live on.We do have a fireplace, BUT, it ONLY warms the livingroom and the den. We cant use the fireplace during the night while we sleep though, because then my husband and I would have to man the fire all night and not get any sleep. So throughout the night it gets very cold in here. NOW, we get our rent statement and the landlord is EXPECTING us to compensate HIM through our rent for all this money he's had to pay out to the plumbers. We don't believe this is fair since we are the ones who are being inconveineced. More prayers please.

Aimee, who are you talking to with the city of Amarillo? Why are they saying it is taking so long to get this resolved? What are you all doing for heat at this point?

Comment by Aimee Medford on November 30, 2011 at 9:17am

Thank you ALL FOR YOUR PRAYER'S. They are MUCH needed and appreciated. The Bible says God only gives you what you can handle. I'm sorry, I don't think I can take much more of this situation..keeping OUR faith though.

Comment by Aimee Medford on November 30, 2011 at 9:15am

Becki, yes that is correct. The city gas line has snapped. It has been over 2 weeks now and we ALL have very small children, with no way to cook, bathe or heat the house or wash our clothes. The weather man has predicted begining tomorrow ice ,sleet, snow and highs in the 20's from now until next Wednesday.

Comment by Becki Mayes on November 30, 2011 at 7:46am

Aimee, so it is the city line that is broken and you are now over two weeks without gas coming into your community? I want to make sure I understand this correctly....we are praying for you this morning. We are also praying for the gas line and the person who is in charge of getting it fixed.

Comment by Becki Mayes on November 30, 2011 at 7:39am

Patricia, we are praying for you..

Comment by Aimee Medford on November 29, 2011 at 7:56pm

Amarillo is right. No propane and the city supplied gas, is the gas line that's broken.

Comment by Becki Mayes on November 29, 2011 at 9:28am

Aimee, where exactly are you all located? Your profile says Amarillo is that right? are you without like propane, or city supplied natural gas?

Comment by Becki Mayes on November 29, 2011 at 9:26am

Aimee, we are praying for you and the others around you as well...
