John 6:24
"When the people therefore saw that Jesus was not there, neither his disciples, they also took shipping, and came to Capernanum, seeking for Jesus."

Sometimes we seek for Jesus
And find He isn't there
That's the time to pack our bags
And look for Him elsewhere

For if we seek diligently
Him we shall surely find
And could even be surprised
He's in our hearts and in our mind

Pro 11:25  Be generous, and you will be prosperous. Help others, and you will be helped.

John 6:17
"...And it was now dard, and Jesus was not come to them."

Sometimes it gets real dark
Before the Lord shows up
But He will be here just in time
To fill your empty cup

The full soul does not want Him
The hungry soul cries for more
Thus sometimes He must wait
Until our knees, they touch the floor

Joh 13:5  Then he poured some water into a washbasin and began to wash the disciples' feet and dry them with the towel around his waist.
Joh 13:6  He came to Simon Peter, who said to him, "Are you going to wash my feet, Lord?"
Joh 13:7  Jesus answered him, "You do not understand now what I am doing, but you will understand later."
Joh 13:8  Peter declared, "Never at any time will you wash my feet!" "If I do not wash your feet," Jesus answered, "you will no longer be my disciple."
Joh 13:9  Simon Peter answered, "Lord, do not wash only my feet, then! Wash my hands and head, too!

John 7:7
"The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil."

Oh, how the world hates Jesus
Because of their evil deeds
But if they would just come to Him
They would find He would meet all their needs

He longs to save them from their self
And from their evil too
Just as He has saved me
Just as He has saved you

Acts 13:2
"As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them."

What different workers there would be
In the church today
If we followed this recipe
Before we set them on their way

But we look at the outward
Don't seek God for the heart
So the real men of God
Many times must depart

Joh 12:44  Jesus said in a loud voice, "Whoever believes in me believes not only in me but also in him who sent me.
Joh 12:45  Whoever sees me sees also him who sent me.
Joh 12:46  I have come into the world as light, so that everyone who believes in me should not remain in the darkness.

John 3:17
"John answered and said, a man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven."

If you have a blessing
In your life here below
Don't question where it came from
For it was God who did bestow

He deserves all our thanks
He deserves all our love
For all that we have
Came from heaven above

JUST FOR TODAY: Accept this day that the Lord has given you. You will waste a lot of energy if you try to change circumstances that the Lord has given you. Trust God in all things and yield to His purposes. For God says, "I created you, I am the one who formed you. Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, and YOU are mine." Whatever you are going through, God is with you. He will not let the waters wash you away or allow the fire to burn you. Why? Because HE is the Lord YOUR God!! (Isiah 43:1-3) Seek the Peace that Jesus has already given you. ~Walker

Psa 52:7  "Look, here is someone who did not depend on God for safety, but trusted instead in great wealth and looked for security in being wicked."
Psa 52:8  But I am like an olive tree growing in the house of God; I trust in his constant love forever and ever.
Psa 52:9  I will always thank you, God, for what you have done; in the presence of your people I will proclaim that you are good.

Nahum 1:3
"The Lord is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the Lord hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet."

The Lord is slow to anger
And very great in power
You can trust Him with your life
Every day and every hour

But He can send the whirlwind
And the terrible storm
In order to protect His children
He will bar His mighty arm

Psa 92:1  How good it is to give thanks to you, O LORD, to sing in your honor, O Most High God,
Psa 92:2  to proclaim your constant love every morning and your faithfulness every night,
Psa 92:3  with the music of stringed instruments and with melody on the harp.

Ezekiel 3:8-9
"Behold, I have made thy face strong against their faces, and thy forehead strong, against their forheads.  As an adamant harder than flint have I made thy forehead: fear them not, neither be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house."

Fear not rebellious Israel
Though they scorn and stare
For the Lord is thy strength
And you are in his care

He's made your face strong
And your forehead too
And though they rise up against you
There's nothing they can do

Eze 36:26  I will give you a new heart and a new mind. I will take away your stubborn heart of stone and give you an obedient heart.
Eze 36:27  I will put my spirit in you and will see to it that you follow my laws and keep all the commands I have given you.

Psalms 144:1
"Blessed be the Lord my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight;"

When we are born again
We are drafted into a fight
It's not all sunshine and roses
It's not all glitter and light

So we must learn to use these weapons
That we have been given
If we want to gain the victory
if we want to gain heaven!

JUST FOR TODAY: This is for those who are weary of stress and constant fighting: "..he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile: Let him ESCHEW EVIL, and do good; let him SEEK PEACE and ENSUE it." (1 Peter 3:10-11) "Eschew" means to avoid or abstain from using or participating. So if it's evil, don't use it or participate in it. "Ensue" means to follow as a consequence or result. So if you really want Peace in your life, pursue it; go looking for it; get after it and it will follow as a consequence and result of YOUR actions. True Peace is really out there because that is the one thing that Jesus left for us before he ascended to the Father. You just have to look to Jesus and not loose your focus to find it. ~Walker

JUST FOR TODAY: Try this and see what happens. See how many times you can bless the Lord today: allow your PRAISE for God to be continually in your mouth. Be a witness for His goodness: If you are going to brag about something, boast of the things that God has done for you, and all those around you will be glad to hear it. O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt and lift up His name together!! God is challenging all of us to "....taste and see that the Lord is good...". You will be greatly blessed if you put your trust in the Lord TODAY. (Psalm 34:1-3, 8) ~Walker

Psalms 7:15-16
"He made a pit, and digged it, and is fallen into the ditch which he made.  His mischief shall return upon his own head, and his violent dealing shall come down upon his own pate."

The wicked come against us
From the left and the right
But God will cause them to fall
Through His great power and might

So the wiicked should think twice
Before they come against a Christian
For little do they know
They're on a self destructive mission
