Shake it off!!  Don't let anyone or anybody steal your JOY!!  Satan will use all the major and minor irritations he can muster up to kill and destroy your relationship with the Lord and others around you and ruin your day if you allow it.  Remember who you are in Christ and that Jesus Christ is the one who has overcome the world and Satan is the one who is defeated!!!  Resist the Devil and he will flee!!  Do not be afraid of such a liar and a coward!!  There is only one thing you need to prove today and that is that you are a living trophy of God's Grace!!!  GIVE HIM PRAISE!!!  Please share the Joy of the Lord with someone who needs encouragement today and sing a little bit of "Victory in Jesus".  I Love all of you!!  ~Pastor Lynn

"Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.  And whatever you do in word and deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him." Colossians 3:16-17. Paul wrote this to encourage folks to keep their focus where it should be.......on knowing, praising, and honoring God through Christ!!  We do NOT need to spend our time struggling with false teachings and disunity.  We all need to be more careful of how we spend our time.  Time is one of our resources that is not unlimited; meaning we better make the most of it.  There will come a time when Jesus will ask you what you did with yours!!  ~Pastor Lynn

(from Sunday morning)

Man....am I tired this morning!!!  I sure would like to lay up and worship Saint Mattress this morning, wouldn't you??  BUT if I did I wouldn't get to preach two sermons this morning and praise God with THE TRIPLE CROSS BAND.  What a blessing I would miss not getting to Love on God, Love on my Church Family, and tell somebody about Jesus!!!  I think I'll get up and head for 4092 Norge Road, Chickasha, Oklahoma; that's COWBOY COUNTRY CHURCH!!!  Where are you going this morning??  ~Pastor Lynn

Jesus knows every step of the journey ahead of you, even all the way to Heaven.  Why shouldn't He??  After all, He IS the way!!  "Jesus answered, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life...." John 14:6  Sign me up for all three of those, please!!!   ~Pastor Lynn

"What man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone?" ~Matthew 7:9   The illustration Jesus is using here is one of a good child asking for a good thing from a good father. Notice that all three variables here must be "good". Never say that it is not God's will to give you what you ask because He is a "Good" Father who Loves you and Loves to bless His children, but on the other hand, He is also a "responsible" Father who will not reward rebellious and disobedient children. If you are hateful, unforgiving and acting like a spoiled brat but still asking your Father for Spiritual Blessings, you're barkin' up the wrong tree!!! Adjust your attitude and live your life today as a "good" child of God and then you will receive the unhindered blessings from your Father. ~Pastor Lynn

Psa 119:68 How good you are---how kind! Teach me your commands.

"We urge you, brethren, to recognize those who labor among you, and are over you in the Lord and admonish you, and to esteem them very highly in love for their work's sake.  Be at peace among yourselves."  ~1 Thessalonians 5:12-13.  Relationships can be messy.  Sometimes they take a wrong turn and seem to be more of a burden than a blessing.  That's the reason for this scripture and many others like it that constantly encourage us to live in PEACE!! These scriptures remind us that we are not the first to travel down a rocky road and they reassure us that peace IS possible.  Jesus is the Prince of Peace.  If He can bring about reconciliation with a Holy God, He can certainly bring about reconciliation with troublesome relationships with others!!  Stand on this scripture right now, and YOU be willing to work out peace in your relationships with you spouse, your boss, your friends, your kids, with all those around you.....in HIS power.  Peace does not just happen.....it must be pursued.  ~Pastor Lynn

Psa 119:66 Give me wisdom and knowledge, because I trust in your commands.

Don't worry about yesterday; it is gone.  And don't worry about tomorrow; only God knows and controls that venue.  Your job is to live today; live it with all the Love and Faith that you can muster!!  The Bible calls Love "the bond of perfection".  You and I are not perfect and this old world we live in is certainly not perfect, but Love is very powerful and it covers a multitude of sin.  Lord knows it's going to take a lot of Love to cover the sins of this old world and it's the only thing still holding all of us together.  Be Thankful today and don't allow anybody or anything to steal your Peace and Joy!!  ~Pastor Lynn  Colossians 3:14-15 ~ "Above all these things put Love, which is the bond of perfection.  And let the peace of god rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful."

One morning Jesus walked along the edge of Lake Galilee and beckoned to a few local fishermen. He said, “Follow me” (Matthew 4:19). At that moment, everything began for them. ‘Everything’ had only been fish, and then it became people, action, and changing world history, with ever-increasing faith, ever-increasing effects. Jesus did not call them, you, or me, to switch off our smiles and to wear sackcloth. It was not to turn people into religious fanatics. He was not so conventional Himself! The disciples caught His bubbling spirit, which challenged the stuffy establishment. He showed them new things, especially faith and love, and by them they conquered the world. God bless you.  REINHARD BONNKE

"Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing Love, for I have put my trust in you.  Show me the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul." ~Psalm 143:8 Stop!!  Quit looking around anxiously and trying to figure out what to do!!  The door bell is gonna ring or the phone is gonna ring and mess up all of your plans anyway.  Relax and let the Lord lead you through this day.  Just try this one day to trust God completely and see if He won't "bring you word of His unfailing Love"!!  Lift up, and give up your soul, which is your mind, will, and emotions, to the Lord and He WILL show you the way that you should go.  Realizing the Revelation of God's Love for you is worth more than all the planning in the world!!  ~Pastor Lynn

"Now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.  For He himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation." ~Ephesians 2:13-14  "you who once were far off"??  What does that mean??  Far off from what?  Not what but who!! It means you were once far, far away from God; so far away that you were considered His enemy!!  What a miracle the blood of Christ has performed!!  It has broken down that wide, wide middle wall of sin that separated us from God and has transformed us from enemies of God into His children!!  Jesus did not make peace, HE IS PEACE!!  Confess your sin today, repent, and believe in the ONLY begotten Son of God, JESUS CHRIST!!!  Then and only then, will the hostility between you and God be gone forever, and you will ALWAYS, starting right now and for eternity, enjoy PEACE!!  ~Pastor Lynn

You are way off base if you are "serving the Lord" because you think it's the right thing to do!!  Remember the prodigal son (Luke 15)??  The son came home to be the Father's servant, but the Father wouldn't have it that way.  He wasn't looking for a servant, he was looking for a his Son!!!  Your Heavenly Father is looking for sons and daughters as well.  Being a child of God must come first.  That must be our top priority!! Then we can serve Him because we Love Him, not just because it's just the right thing to do.  ~Pastor Lynn

Psa 119:40 I want to obey your commands; give me new life, for you are righteous.
Psa 119:41 Show me how much you love me, LORD, and save me according to your promise.
Psa 119:42 Then I can answer those who insult me because I trust in your word.

Dear Lord, please let us have the power to enjoy life today in your peace. Let us surrender every wayward thought to YOU. Fill our hearts and minds with thoughts that please you. In Jesus' name we pray, AMEN!!
"THOSE WHO LIVE ACCORDING TO THE FLESH SET THEIR MINDS ON THE THINGS OF THE FLESH, BUT THOSE WHO LIVE ACCORDING TO THE SPIRIT, THE THINGS OF THE SPIRIT.  FOR TO BE CARNALLY MINDED IS DEATH, BUT TO BE SPIRITUALLY MINDED IS LIFE AND PEACE." ~Romans 8:5-6

Some folks think that "freedom" is something that allows you to do anything you want to.  That's not freedom, that's anarchy.  True freedom is when you are seeking to please the LORD above all else.  When you allow your own selfish desires or you let others' expectations drive you, you just scatter your life and energy to the wind!!  Jesus Christ is the one and only true Master, and He will never drive you to be what you are not.  Stay focused on the LORD today and He will give you the freedom to be who you really are. Now that's FREEDOM!! (Ephesians 5:8-10) ~Pastor Lynn
