Recently I was ministering on a subject entitled "Understanding Our Perimeters To Fulfill Our Heavenly Purpose" and mentioned in the message that everyone of us has a "Divine Appointment". In 1 Chronicles 4:9-10 is found the story of Jabez. The entire chapter deals with genealogy and the writer dedicates 2 verses to Jabez and the 4 things he asked God for in his prayer. Why did he separate Jabez from the rest mentioned? It was because of his DIVINE APPOINTMENT. Jabez's name meant "hurt". He asked unselfishly for the 4 things so that there would be "no more hurt (pain)".
The following week while searching for some Christian based movies to share with our congregation I found a movie entitled "DiVine Appointment" which is to be released in 2016. It's about a young man that finds the Lord's grace in a VINEyard he inherits. Later that week I was speaking to a friend of mine who has spent many years in Rodeo Ministry and he mentions the term Divine Appointment again. Wow! That was all I needed. The next Sunday I ministered on "Our DiVINE Appointment". God confirms His Word to us. Are you listening?
God Bless!
