Spreading the love of Jesus...the Cowboy Way!

I have to start this off being verry real, most of my life it has been "christians" chasing me away from God not sinners drawing me away. That being said it allway's amazes me when God reveals this to me and tells me to forgive and ask for forgivness ? .If you are a "sinner" talking about someone and breaking confidence (and elaberating) it is called gossip. If you think you are a "better christian" than that person(and surely you must be) it is okay to break confidence, bully and even flat out lie to because you think more of yourself than them.Under this guise you plow ahead and think it is all about you being "godly" not worldly. You know in the Bible God said a pig allway's returns to it's slop, and no matter what you call a dog it is a dog.I think that the next time someone goes to justifing theire self because they want to share something "IN A GODLY WAY" they should probably ask Jesus what it feels like to be betrayed .And it is funny those are the people that will discuss this and justify there deciete and pat eachother on the back, sad, people will never be able to trust someone more than they trust themselves, and even sadder ,they cant trust God above theire own level. What to do ? God knows the truth and he will bring everything done in secret out into the open.SHALOM

You can point your finger at "Christians", Sinners, the Devil, or anything else you want to that chased you away from God, but the Bible says that it is our own evil desires that tempt us and separate us from God.  Maybe we need to take responsibitly for "Running" from God  instead of using the excuse that somebody chased us away. ~Pastor Lynn

I agree 100 % ! That is why God tells us he will make everything done in secret exposed -we dont know his timeing that is why if someone "chasses" you away it isnt God no matter what name is used- that is why it is so important to show love to hurting people -sometimes we may be the only one that shows them love - I just hope we can get the word out that God is like the rubics cube( to simple for most to get it) -keep seeking -keep seeking -keep seeking !  And for those of us who know Gods love-KEEP LOVEING AND GIVE HIM THE GLORY ! `~ Lisa
A very good preacher once said -"It is in mans ignorance of God's love that he defends it in selfish fear instead of love ."Most things are like that-we tend to take things out of context to alieviate our guilt (pride) and we end up bulling someone to puff ourselves up instead of showing love. It is kind of like running head-on it-nto a stampeading heard to turn them instead of gently turning them and comforting them -Jesus came to help the hurting-defend the defencless and heal the broken hearted-not beat us up- I would like to say if anyone is hurting and they dont know the rules please gentle them with the precence of the HOLYSPIRIT instead of attack them- 'it is just my opinion as a servant to my Lord and Savior' God bless everyone today-LJ
