Spreading the love of Jesus...the Cowboy Way!

Gethsemane was probably the most difficult part of Jesus’ life.  He was looking at the cross, realizing that when he was placed on the cross, He would take all the sins of all mankind upon Him and the Father would turn from Him and there He would die for our sins.  Now, He wanted to do the Father’s will and so He prayed, “Father, thy will be done.”  But, He took His disciples and left some but took with Him Peter, James and John.  He went to pray and wanted them to be with Him but they went to sleep.  He came back and woke them up and after He prayed they were asleep again.  Finally, He said sleep on.

I’m afraid that our world is asleep.  So many are lost without Christ and unless they get saved, they are going to die in their sins and go to hell.  I’m afraid that too many Christians that have been saved are asleep.  Some sleep through opportunities to tell family and friends about Jesus.

Wake Up!  Ole’ Satan will lull you into a sleep and give you pleasure, materialism and excuses and if you’re not careful, he’ll just let you sleep while those you might reach stay lost.  We need to wake up! Tell everyone you can about Jesus. When we’re awake doing His will, great things happen.
