Spreading the love of Jesus...the Cowboy Way!

JUST FOR TODAY: Are you being "poured out"???

Please visit us at COWBOY COUNTRY CHURCH

JUST FOR TODAY: Paul wrote to Timothy and told him, "I am being poured out like a drink offering....".  What he was telling timothy was that he had completely poured out his life to mininster, care, and pray for others.  I used to think what a great man Paul was, but I have come to realize that Paul's greatness was not because of the man he was but because of the God to whom he had surrendered.  I... don't know about you, but I have been guiltly of saying, "I am not as "good" a Christian as Paul, therefore, I cannot do great things for God like he did."  What a cop out!!!  Being an awesome servant of God has not one thing to do with your abilities or your "goodness";  It all boils down to are we ready and willing to surrender our lives completely to God and then see HIS Greatness and Power work through us.  Isn't the same Powerful Holy Spirit in you and I that was in Paul??   ~Pastor Lynn
