Jesus Is My Cowboy
The Cowboy’s 23rd Psalm
Jesus is my cowboy, I am well taken care of.
He gives me a safe place to lie down with green grass to eat and takes me to good, clean, safe water. My cowboy sings me songs that brings my heart and mind back to the place of peace. He takes me down the right trails so that others will recognize that his name is powerful and true.
Even though I have to walk down paths that are full of coyotes and bears and wolves and mountain lions, I am not afraid because your peacemaker and Winchester rifle protect me no matter what! My cowboy provides me with a place to eat in the middle of the wild animals with food that is not only good to eat but is also good for me.
You, my cowboy clean me up and put a bow on my neck and prepare me like you are going to enter me in the county fair (because you are proud of me). My heart is so full because of what you do for me that it overflows.
Because of all of this I know that all of the good things that God promises not only will follow me but will chase me down as long as I live and I will be given a special pasture and I will live in my cowboy’s barn forever and ever.
Intro: Jesus is my Cowboy!, I am well taken care of.
cowboy - A hired man, especially in the western United States, who tends cattle and performs many of his duties on horseback. (http://www.thefreedictionary.com/cowboy )
A cowboy is an animal herder who tends cattle on ranches in North America, traditionally on horseback, and often performs a multitude of other ranch-related tasks. The historic American cowboy of the late 19th century arose from the vaquerotraditions of northern Mexico and became a figure of special significance and legend.[1] A subtype, called a wrangler, specifically tends the horses used to work cattle. In addition to ranch work, some cowboys work for or participate in rodeos.Cowgirls, first defined as such in the late 19th century, had a less-well documented historical role, but in the modern world have established the ability to work at virtually identical tasks and obtained considerable respect for their achievements.[2]There are also cattle handlers in many other parts of the world, particularly South America and Australia, who perform work similar to the cowboy in their respective nations (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cowboy )

The first letters of my intro, points and conclusion spell..........
C.O.R.R.A.L. - 1. An enclosure designed for holding livestock. 2. a circular enclosure formed by wagons during an encampment, as by covered wagons crossing the North American plains in the 19th century, for defense against attack.
A place where Jesus prepares, heals, protects, brands and sends us out from
And this C.O.R.R.A.L. really is OK because
Jesus is my Lord
He can Be your Lord To!
