1Jn 3:1

See what manner of love the Father has given us, that we may be called children of God. For this reason the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.

1Jn 3:2

Beloved, now we are the children of God, and it was not yet revealed what we shall be. But we know that if He is revealed, we shall be like Him, because we shall see Him as He is.

JUST FOR TODAY: Jesus told the Jewish Religious leaders, "you are from beneath; I am from above: you are of this world; I am not of this world.  I said therefore unto you, that you shall die in your sins: for if you believe not that I am He (the Son of God), you shall die in your sins." (John 8: 23-24)  Jesus Christ truly is the Son of God and He died on the Cross for your sin.  You are bought and paid for by His blood and He will forgive you of all sin if you will ask him to do so.  This is the simple truth and the "good news" about Jesus Christ.  The ball is now in your court: you can choose to believe in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, or you can choose not to believe and reject Him.  The first choice gives you eternal life; the second allows you to "die in your sins".  He has put before you life and death; choose life!!!  ~Pastor Lynn

JUST FOR TODAY: May God give you the revelation of what really is the "exceeding greatness of His power" toward us who believe in His son, Jesus Christ.  According to His power that worked in Jesus Christ to raise Him from the dead, God set Jesus on His right hand in Heaven.  There Jesus is "far above" and reigns over all nations and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, no...t only in this world, but also in that which is to come".  And God has put all things under the feet of Jesus, and gave Him to be the head over all things to the CHURCH. The CHURCH is His body and it is the fulness of Him that fills all in all. If you are "in Christ" then you need to be "in CHURCH".  See you in CHURCH Sunday, ~Pastor Lynn  (Ephesians 1:19-23)

JUST FOR TODAY: Are you angry today over being wronged and hurt by someone??  Well, STOP being angry, and forsake your wrath; DO NOT worry and fret yourself by thinking up ways to repay evil with evil.  "For evildoers shall be cut off: but those who wait upon the Lord, they shall inherit the earth."  You know, it won't be long and the wicked folks "shall not be".  That's right. The time will come ...when you go looking for the place of the wicked, and it will be gone!!  But remember this: "the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the ABUNDANCE of PEACE".  You can stay angry and have a lot of TURMOIL in your life or you can choose to stop being angry and have a lot of PEACE.  The choice is yours. ~Pastor Lynn  (Psalm 37:8-11)

2Co 1:5 Because even as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so also our comfort abounds through Christ.

Act 4:13 But beholding the boldness of Peter and John, and having perceived that they are untaught and uneducated men, they marveled. And they recognized them, that they were with Jesus.  [underlining for emphasis mine]

Luk 11:3 Give us our needed bread day by day;
Luk 11:4 and forgive us our sins, for we ourselves also forgive everyone indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil.

JUST FOR TODAY: For by GRACE you are saved through FAITH.  And you didn't get GRACE or FAITH either one by your own power: they are the gifts of God.  GRACE and FAITH cannot be bought with money or earned by works, so no one can boast of themselves.  YOU, as a born again believer, are the workmanship of God Almighty, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God has already prepared for you and He fully expects you "should walk in them".  Don't miss a single opportunity today to do a good work; Love on God, Love on somebody, and tell somebody about Jesus!!  (Ephesians 2:8-10)

Eph 6:18 through all prayer and petition, praying at all times in the Spirit, and watching to this same thing with all perseverance and petition concerning all the saints.
Eph 6:19 Pray also for me, that to me may be given speech in the opening of my mouth with boldness to make known the mystery of the gospel,

Mat 11:23 And you, Capernaum, who "have been exalted to the heaven, you will be thrown down to Hades." For if the powerful acts happening in you had taken place in Sodom, it would remain until today. Isa. 14:13, 15
Mat 11:24 But I say to you, It will be more bearable for the land of Sodom in Judgment Day than for you.
Mat 11:25 Answering at that time, Jesus said, I praise You, Father, Lord of Heaven and of earth, because You hid these things from the sophisticated and cunning and revealed them to babes.

Psa 80:18 So we will not backslide from You; make us live, and we will call on Your name.
Psa 80:19 O Jehovah, God of Hosts, turn us again! Cause Your face to shine, and we will be saved.

Heb 9:21 In the same way Moses also sprinkled the blood on the Sacred Tent and over all the things used in worship.
Heb 9:22 Indeed, according to the Law almost everything is purified by blood, and sins are forgiven only if blood is poured out.
Heb 9:23 Those things, which are copies of the heavenly originals, had to be purified in that way. But the heavenly things themselves require much better sacrifices.
Heb 9:24 For Christ did not go into a Holy Place made by human hands, which was a copy of the real one. He went into heaven itself, where he now appears on our behalf in the presence of God.

JUST FOR TODAY: Life can become a real battle.  It seems like we are fighting about something all the time.  King David cried out to God in times like these that, "my enemies try daily to swallow me up"!  Crying out to God means praying with all your heart.  Then King David added TRUST to his prayers when he said, "What time I am afraid, I will TRUST in thee.  In God I will praise His Word, in God I have put my TRUST".  Prayer and Trust in God's Son is powerful enough to deliver your soul from death: surely it's powerful enough to deliver your feet from falling that you may walk before Him in the light of the living. (Psalm 56:2-4,13)  ~Pastor Lynn

Psa 138:1 I thank you, LORD, with all my heart; I sing praise to you before the gods.
Psa 138:2 I face your holy Temple, bow down, and praise your name because of your constant love and faithfulness, because you have shown that your name and your commands are supreme.
Psa 138:3 You answered me when I called to you; with your strength you strengthened me.
Psa 138:4 All the kings in the world will praise you, LORD, because they have heard your promises.
Psa 138:5 They will sing about what you have done and about your great glory.
Psa 138:6 Even though you are so high above, you care for the lowly, and the proud cannot hide from you.
Psa 138:7 When I am surrounded by troubles, you keep me safe. You oppose my angry enemies and save me by your power.
Psa 138:8 You will do everything you have promised; LORD, your love is eternal. Complete the work that you have begun.

Psa 78:15 He split rocks open in the desert and gave them water from the depths.
Psa 78:16 He caused a stream to come out of the rock and made water flow like a river.
Psa 78:17 But they continued to sin against God, and in the desert they rebelled against the Most High.

JUST FOR TODAY: Praise the Lord today for He has heard your prayers!!  Do not be depressed by your weariness or fearful of your cirumstances; the Lord is your strength and your protection.  If you have put your trust in Him, you are helped.  It's a done deal, even if you haven't seen it come to pass yet, it's on the way!!  So let your heart rejoice this morning and with your song give Him PRAISE!!!  (Psalm 28:6-7) ~Pastor Lynn

Eph 1:11 All things are done according to God's plan and decision; and God chose us to be his own people in union with Christ because of his own purpose, based on what he had decided from the very beginning.
Eph 1:12 Let us, then, who were the first to hope in Christ, praise God's glory!
Eph 1:13 And you also became God's people when you heard the true message, the Good News that brought you salvation. You believed in Christ, and God put his stamp of ownership on you by giving you the Holy Spirit he had promised.

JUST FOR TODAY: You have an extremely unique ability that God has given only to humans. And that is the abitlty to choose what you want to focus your mind upon. You can choose to focus on your problems and worries and fears, or you can choose to focus on the presence and the light of Jesus Christ. When you choose to focus on Jesus and His presence shines on all those thoughts that bother you and hinder you, you will find they will ALL melt away. That doesn't mean problems will all go away, but your worrying about them will!! God has promised to "keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed (focused) on thee (Jesus). Trust Jesus for a change and see what happens!! (Isaiah 26:3) ~Pastor Lynn
