Spreading the love of Jesus...the Cowboy Way!

To the bands/ singers/ songwriters/ artists:

I'm curious if you all would share where you record your projects and the cost if you're willing. I'm trying to compile a list of studios that are Christian country/ country gospel oriented or, at least, offer the option. I'd also like to list some great session players available for this genre of music.

Thanks for your help!

Did that amount include a producer for tracks or just vocals? Thanks for responding by the way. I appreciate your input!

$22,000? Are you sure that's right? We record both at our own studio and at Legends Studio in Nashville. Legends will record either by the track or for the entire project. So if you just want to do a single, you can do that as well. Cost for just a single is $1500 and that includes A-list studio musicians (yes the VERY SAME you hear on most of the country songs on the radio), engineer, and producer (Darrell and Chewie have produced three #1s for us), mixing and mastering. If you want to use B-musicians (also great players) that price is a little cheaper. Believe it or not it's not always cheaper to make your own music (like we do) as it could take longer and therefor add to the cost by adding studio time. With the studio players it's one or two takes and you're done.

For an entire 10 song project, it would be a little cheaper per song and be right around $13,000 depending on if any overcharges were incurred. That price includes 1 1/2 hours per song to record vocals and 1 hour mixing time per song. If any song requires more time than that, then that's where your overcharges come in.

Also, we have the ability to design your CD covers and prep for production if you need that as well.

We do everything in house so if anyone needs any help just give us a buzz! This is for the highest quality you can get, in both recording and CD design.
