God's Amazing Grace

    There are moments , more like seasons in my life, that I didnt look like a christian. I say that humbly ,knowing that without God's grace I dont deserve to even speak his name. Now maby some others feel this way,truth is according to God , we all fall short of deserving his grace, mercy and love. That in itself is a very sobering thought to me. I am only here because no matter my past ,no matter my failure, no matter my disgrace- when I turned my life over to follow and honer him , he forgave me and dosent see my past. Where else can you have failed so bad and know that even hanging on that cross - he prayed for me and asked our Father to forgive me. I dont think anyone can imagine the pain we cause him, and yet he loves us.He commands us that if we love him we will line our will up with his desire ,his will. At first I failed in this and only kept at it out of obedience, I still fall short the diffrence is now I try with my whole heart to serve him and stumble less. My heart truly breaks and grieves when I stumble now, not something that came easy or that i even believed could happen in me. The diffrence is now I correct my mistakes as quickly as I can instead of making excusses or puting blame on circumstances. Or justifying my actions on circumstances on anothers actions. Sobering thought, God dosent forgive us if we dont forgive others.And there is a diffrence from sin and purposfull sin.Every challenge in our life is a choice to do the rite thing or make an excuse.Respect is a healthy fear of consequences or a healthy gratitude for who we choose to follow to the best of our ability.What we practice will determine the desires of our heart and show our love and respect for who we follow. God said if we love him and really believe in him we will line our will up with his will. Dont worry if you think you dont deserve it, truth is you dont, so get over it.Truth is you cant find one single person -past,present or future who deserved this kind of love. Winning is determination to serve him in all your way's and to strive everyday to prove your love for him. Get personal with him and he will get personal with you, guide you, comfort you and never forsake you. God loves you ,love yourself enough to love him.
