HE IS COMING SOON

“And many false prophets shall arise and shall deceive many.” (Matthew 24:11, KJV)

Not long ago, a dear saint of God was talking with me a few days after I had preached God’s word at her church. She told me “ it had been a long time since she had heard preaching like that; that it seemed that so many preachers are so focused on trying to please people, and keep the churches full, and are afraid to preach messages with any substance, messages that challenge and even rebuke and call for action on the part of the hearer.”

Now, I’m not sharing this to be boastful or puff myself up; I’m just a sinner saved by grace striving to serve Him, who He has called to preach His word. I am sharing this because it deeply saddens me that she is not the only believer I have heard this from. It seems in this so-called post-modern era, with all the pressures from the world for the church to be more tolerant and to compromise, and the fear of losing people if they are offended by the preaching of God’s word, that the word of God is being so watered down and distorted and even misrepresented by those who claim to be prophets and preachers, that the churches are becoming more and more like the Laodicean church, and believers who are hungry for God’s word are starving in the pews.

At the same time, modern day so-called prophets and mega-church leaders are propagating a NEW GOSPEL of hyper-grace, world-centred love, and culturally friendly, politically correct rhetoric—all in the name of “reaching” the culture of the day with the message of Jesus. But it is not the Jesus of the Bible. It is not the message of the Bible—the message of sin and judgement and hell and the need for repentance and surrender to Jesus Christ ALONE for salvation. It is not the message of the prophetic scriptures and the imminent return of Christ. It is a message of false hope for a today-centred culture that has no redemptive truth, and is deceiving millions into judgement.

Jesus warned us in Matthew 24:24-25: “For there shall arise false Christ’s and false prophets and shall show great signs and wonders; in so much that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Behold I have told you before.”

We are living in the last days. Jesus warned us that there will be many false prophets preaching messages of deception; such that even those who are saved are vulnerable. WE MUST TAKE HEED AND SEEK GOD’S TRUTH IN HIS WORD, LEST WE BE DECEIVED BY THE FALSE PROPHETS WHO ARE AMONG US IN THESE LAST DAYS.

Jesus said: “When you see these things begin, look up, for your redemption draws near.”

HE IS COMING SOON!

Ahhh, Laughter is good medicine...

A married couple in their early 60s are celebrating their
40th wedding anniversary in a quiet, romantic little restaurant.

Suddenly, a tiny yet beautiful fairy appeared on their table.

She said, 'For being such an exemplary married
couple and for being loving to each other for
all this time, I will grant you each a wish.'

The wife answered, 'Oh, I want to travel around the world
with my darling husband.'

The fairy waved her magic wand and - poof! - two
tickets for the Queen Mary II appeared in her
hands.

The husband thought for a moment:
'Well, this is all very romantic, but an
opportunity like this will never come again. I'm
sorry my love, but my wish is to have a wife 30
years younger than me.'

The wife, and the fairy, were deeply disappointed,
but a wish is a wish.!

So the fairy waved her magic wand and
poof!...

The husband became 92 years old.

HE IS COMING SOON

“And I will give power unto My two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and three-score days…and when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them. And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of that great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified. And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall SEE their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.” (Revelation 11:3;7-9 KJV)

Very recently the Federal Communications Commission of the United States of America attempted to force every news media network—including conservative and Christian media—to allow the F.C.C to MONITOR everything that would be broadcast. The F.C.C. said this was to ensure that the news being reported was giving the public at large the information it needed, and what the F.C.C. felt was “correct” information. Thanks to the hard work of the American Centre for Law and Justice (ACLJ), Fox news, and the outcry from both Democrats and Republicans, the F.C.C. has cancelled its plans, FOR NOW.

We live at a time where we are literally able to instantly see an event as it unfolds anywhere in the world, everywhere in the world at the same time. With satellite technology and the internet, whatever happens at any time anywhere in the world can be seen by every person on the face of the earth in an instant. The media of the world have the capability to inform the entire world of whatever they CHOOSE to broadcast. And those who CONTROL the media have tremendous power. The F.C.C.’s attempt to monitor the media would have given them the ability to control and manipulate what is covered and what is seen by the world.

Our scripture reveals that when the two witnesses are killed the whole world will see their dead bodies. The Anti-Christ will allow this to demonstrate his power and to deceive millions into worshipping him and taking his mark. He will have complete control over the media. We not only now have the technology to do this, but its seems the inclination also.  We are getting very close to the return of our Lord Jesus Christ for His Church.

Jesus said: “When you see these things begin, look up, for your redemption draweth nigh!”

If anyone has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit is saying to the church.

HIS VOICE TO THE NATIONS

“To me, who am less than the least of all the saints, this grace was given, that I should preach among the Gentiles, the unsearchable riches of Christ, and to make all see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the ages has been hidden in God who created all things through Christ; to the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made know by the church…” (Ephesians 3:8-10, NKJV)

The apostle Paul, in his letter to the church at Ephesus, talks about God’s purpose for the church: “that the manifold wisdom of God might be made known…” (Ephesians 3:10) The manifold wisdom of God was deemed to be foolishness to the wise, but the power of salvation to those who would believe. “Has not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe…to those who are called…Christ, the power of God and the wisdom of God.” (1 Corinthians 1:20-24) Paul reveals that the wisdom of God can only be received by faith, by believing the message of God’s love, the cross of Jesus Christ, by repentance and faith. And the church was established to make known the manifold wisdom—the message of the gospel, of God’s word—to the world; to be HIS VOICE TO THE NATIONS. Paul clearly lets the church at Ephesus know that even though he saw himself as less than the least of all the saints—no one that important—yet, he knew that God, by His grace, had called him to “preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ.” Paul knew he was called to preach the gospel, to make known the riches of Christ and the Word of God to the Gentiles (Those who did not know God) But, ultimately, he understood, and taught that the CHURCH was to be God’s voice to the nations—“to make known His manifold wisdom.”

As I studied this passage of scripture God showed me three important truths. First, I know that God has called me to preach His word, to proclaim and be a witness to Jesus Christ; even though I am less than the least of all the saints—nobody really that important. Yet I know God calls me—and every believer—to be a witness to Jesus Christ.

Secondly, Paul makes it very clear that God has ordained the church to be His voice to the nations. This is the primary ministry and purpose for the church. This is why the church was established on the Day of Pentecost; it is why the church has existed for over 2,000 years; and it is what the church is called to do until Jesus comes.

Finally, the pressures of the times we live in and the temptation to try to blend in with the world must NEVER be allowed to take the church away from that which God ordained her to do: “that the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church.” That the church NEVER ceases to be HIS VOICE TO THE NATIONS until He comes.

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight." (Proverbs 3:5,6.) Have you ever had those times in life when you are dealing with a certain problem or going through difficult circumstances and you pray to God but don't seem to be getting any answers? Or maybe the answers you seem to be receiving don't make any sense to you and you find yourself asking God "really?" "This is not the way I would have done it Lord or the way that I was asking for things to be done."  The bible tells us that as believers we need to live by faith and not by sight. God tells us in His Word that His ways are not our ways nor are His thoughts always our thoughts. The main question here is "do you truly trust God?"  As simple human beings we only see the small picture where God is able to see the big picture. He always knows what's best for us in any situation that we may find ourselves in. When He told Joshua to lead the Isralites around Jericho for six days without saying a word it probably didn't make alot of sense to both Joshua and the Isralites as to how this was doing anything to help out their situation. But when they all started yelling on the seventh day as God had instructed and the walls of the city came tumbling down they saw in that moment the rationality of God's way. My friend, no matter what you may be going through today or what situation you find yourself in search God's Word to see what He says about your situation. Then take ahold of His promises and stand firm knowing that you can trust Him with all your heart and that God always knows the best way to answer our prayers. Even when it feels as though your prayers aren't being answered or the answers don't make a whole lot of sense in the moment continue to trust God. He loves you and will always see you through with His best. God Bless, Pastor Curt, Revelation Ranch Ministry.

MY DEEP CONCERN
“…besides the other things, what comes upon me daily: my deep concern for all the churches.” (2 Corinthians 11:28,NKJV)
Our scripture verse comes at the end of a list of trials and tribulations the apostle Paul had endured—scourging, beatings, shipwrecks, stoning, perils, abandonment, hunger, thirst, weariness, sleeplessness, attacks from false preachers, and on and on. Yet even after enduring all these things, Paul’s deepest concern, his daily burden, his heartache and passion was his deep concern for all the churches. Paul saw the influx of false teachers and false, twisted, and distorted messages being preached in the churches. “For if he who comes preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or if you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted—you may well put up with it.” (2 Corinthians 11:4,NKJV) Paul was deeply concerned; first, that the true gospel of Jesus Christ was being distorted, watered down, and peddled by false preachers looking to puff themselves up and aim to soothe itching ears in order to fill their pockets at the expense of those they preached to and make a name for themselves as their followers grew in numbers. But most of all, Paul was concerned for the churches themselves, the bodies of believers who had heard and received the truth, the full counsel of God; and were now being deceived and just sitting by while those seeking to know God were being SOLD a false gospel by false preachers, and the churches were slipping rapidly into apostasy and becoming ineffective and powerless; while tolerance for the preaching of the true gospel—of sin and judgement and eternal punishment in hell for those who reject Christ; of repentance and surrender to Christ for salvation—was rapidly decreasing in the churches as they embraced the false teachers and false gospels that tickled their ears and filled up the church with one false convert after another. In all this, and all Paul endured, his deepest concern was for all the churches.
Are we—like Paul—concerned for the churches in our time? As we see the rise of false teachers, and false gospels, and the embracing by multitudes of false hope. Are we concerned about the days we live in; are we studying the prophetic scriptures of the last days and Christ’s imminent return? Are we warning others and urging them to repent and surrender to Christ? Are we concerned about the taking over of our country—and the world—by immorality and idolatry, by the blindness of those who reject Christ, and even more, by the blindness of so many in the churches?
Do we say as the apostle Paul, “…what comes upon ME daily: MY DEEP CONCERN FOR ALL THE CHURCHES.”
“He who has an ear, let him hear what the spirit says to the churches.” (Revelation3:22,NKJV)

I attended a funeral this last week for the father of one of my co-workers. It was a typical service with remembering happy memories and although saddened by his death the family wanted the service to be a time of celebrating his lfe. The pastor of this service comforted the family by reminding them that although this man's life on earth was over he now was living an eternal life with Jesus. But then the pastor made a comment and gave a message to the congregation which really startled me. I quote..."let everyone here in this church today take comfort that none of you needs to fear death and dying because we are all going to heaven when we die. Because we have a God who loves us so much He has given us a guarantee that all people will automatically go to heaven and live eternal life when they die." Say what? In an attempt to be so people friendly and not wanting to offend anyone has some modern day churches done away with hell and God's judgement? This pastor went on to say basically that as long as we all attempt to live good lives we will all end up in heaven when we die because God loves everyone so much. What happened to the teachings of the Bible? I wondered to myself if this was this particular pastors personal opinion or is this what some denominational seminaries are teaching now? I felt a huge heaviness in my heart knowing that this pastor was leading a congregation and this is what he is feeding his flock. I'm sure the church that this pastor sheppards calls itself a bible beleiving church. My friends, it doesn't matter what our opinions are God's Word will always be God's Word. It never changes. And you need to know that yes, hell is a real place and God's judgement is not only righteous but very real. We need a relationship with Jesus Christ, not a list of good deeds to guarantee eternal life. We all need to know what the Bible considers sin and know that we are all accountable. I strongly suggest, no, I pray--- take a good look at the church you're attending and see what you're being fed. Don't attend a church just for it's social aspect or because that's where your family has always attended. Don't settle for a "bible believing" church, find yourself a BIBLE TEACHING church with a pastor who's willing to preach and teach the uncompromised Word of God and not his own opinion. Whether it be mainline or a Cowboy Church make sure you're being fed the Word of God and not the world's watered down version of salvation. Until next time, may God bless you and keep you. As you face the world today remember that you are in the world but not "of" the world. You cannot act like everyone else because you belong to the Lord (don't you?). If you are mad and angry about something, calm down and do not sin!! Face all people today with a "gentle and quiet spirit"; that means take it easy and don't talk too much!! The Bible tells us that such a spirit has an "unfading beauty" about it and it is "of great worth in God's sight". If it's worth a lot to God when He sees this Spirit in you, then it should also be important and worth a lot to you to let Him and others see it as well. Be beautiful today!!! Blessings, ~Pastor Lynn

No matter what I do or don't do, if my life doesn't mirror or reflect the character and traits of the Lord, then I have missed the mark. ~Pastor Lynn

Give a man a fish-- feed him for a day, Teach a man to fish-- feed him for a lifetime, Promise a man someone else's fish every day-- and you create a welfare state!! This is NOT a Biblical principle!! 2nd Thessalonians 3:10-12 says "For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat. For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies. Now them that are such we command and exhort by our lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread. Moral to the story: Shut up, quit whining, and go to work!!! ~Pastor Lynn

Here is a little list of 13 things for you to do while you are waiting........
1. warn people who are being unruly
2. comfort those who are feebleminded
3. support and lift up the weak
4. be patient toward everyone
5. see to it that none dish out evil for evil to any person
6. follow and do what is good, both to those you love and all people
7. Smile and laugh a lot; rejoice all the time!!
8. ...Pray and keep at it!!
9. Not FOR all circumstances but IN all circumstances, be thankful!!!
This is God's will in Christ Jesus concerning YOU.
10. DO NOT douse the Holy Spirit!!! Let it burn!!!!
11. Prove all things through comparison with what God's Word says!!
12. Hold on to what you find out proves to be "Good"!!!
13. When evil shows up, just say, "No thanks, I believe I'll pass!!"
If you lose this list, just go to 1st Thessalonians 5:14-22 and you can find this whole list right there. (just so you know this is God's list not mine). If you are wondering what you are waiting for, these are things to do while waiting on the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ!!! Blessings, ~Pastor Lynn

We must live honestly as the light of Christ has shown us!! Not in the darkness of rioting and drunkenness, not in the "high" of mind altering drugs, not in bedrooms of sexual sins, not in strife, envy, and jealousy, but living in and taking on the attributes of Jesus Christ Himself. It's time we quit making excuses and letting our flesh run our lives in order that we may "fulfill the lust thereof". (See Romans 13:12-14) We have spent too much time in darkness and it is time to cast darkness away and put on the armor of light!! May the enabling Power of God's Grace bless you today, ~Pastor Lynn

"For the Kingdom of God is .......righteousness, and peace, and joy in the holy ghost. For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God and approved of men. Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another." ~Romans 14:17-19
The Kingdom of God is such a wonderful place to go. But it is not really a place at all but a state of mind where you serve God by doing the right thing, live in peace, and experience the unspeakable joy of having the Holy Spirit of God living within you!! Do not let the Kingdom of God slip away from you today but "follow after" these things continuously so they can make your life peaceful and all those around you may learn by example what is acceptable and pleasing to God!!! Live in the Kingdom of God today!!! Blessings, ~Pastor Lynn
There are so many blessing in having a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus, but I believe that Psalm 73:23-24 contains the top three: #1-Jesus is ALWAYS with you and holds on to you with His strong right hand; now that is protection and security at its utmost!!! #2- Jesus guides you with His counsel; the Gospel of Jesus Christ covers everything you need to know about how to live and He gives your life direction!! #3- And most of all, after it's all said and done, Jesus will take you with Him into Glory!!! Now that is the ULTIMATE reward; an eternal home in Heaven with Jesus!!!! Sign up today and "hold on to the lamb"!!! ~Pastor Lynn

The news this morning said that Obama's State of the Union speech highlighted the gap between his goals and his resources. I'm sure glad that I serve a God that does not have such problems, and I know that when I get to the end of my rope, when I run out of resources, that's when I am just at the beginning of His!! ~Pastor Lynn

Arrogance is sometimes described in the Bible as "loftiness". Loftiness occurs in our life when we lift ourselves up more than the Lord; when we think more of ourselves and ignore God and his commandments. Loftiness also occurs when we put our gold and silver, our finances, or any other idol above the Lord. Let's see what the Bible says happens to folks with that kind of behavior. "And the loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be made low: and the Lord alone shall be exalted in that day. And the idols he shall utterly abolish." ~Isaiah 2:17-18 That "day" is closer than you think!! We better trash the "loftiness" attitude and get right with Lord while we still can. Blessings, ~Pastor Lynn
When they (followers of Jesus) therefore were come together (after Jesus was raised from the dead), they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? And He said unto them, "It is not for you to know the times or the seasons which the Father hath put in His own power. But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth." ~Acts 1:6-7
It takes a lot of Power to be a witness for Jesus and that Power is supplied by the indwelling of His Holy Spirit!! As you can see it begins in your home town, spreads throughout the country, into the neighboring countries, and then on into the entire world!!!! This was the last words and commandment of Jesus as they saw him taken up and received in a cloud out of their sight!! You may not be a world missionary, but you can certainly financially support someone who is, and you can certainly witness in your own community!! Do NOT cop out or ignore these final words of our Lord!! How can you say "I can't do this" when Jesus supplies all the power and says that you must?? ~Pastor Lynn

"When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me." ~1st Corinthians 13:11
Predator's number one choice for an easy meal is to attack the young and defenseless. Satan is the same way. The bible says that he is roaming around like a roaring lion seeking whom he might devour. His favorite meals are childish immature Christians. Quit being a baby; grow up and defend yourself and your family from the wiles of the devil!! Satan will think twice about attacking an armed and dangerous mature Christian. Arm yourself with the sword of the Spirit (God's Word) and the shield of Faith (in God)!!! If the right one don't get him, then the left one will!!! Rrrrrrrrrrrrr, ~Pastor Lynn
Worship only God. Obey only God. Never take Satan's side on any issue or decision because He is a loser, and if you take his side, you will be a loser as well. Saying what God says, doing what God says, and going where God says is the ONLY way to be a real winner here and now and forever!! This is a choice you must make every day. Think about that. ~Pastor Lynn
True relationships are a two way street. The Good Lord has given us so many things to be thankful for and to rejoice about. Maybe we should give Jesus something to rejoice about today. As the Lord continually reads you thoughts today, make sure that He finds that you are thinking about Him and putting your Trust in Him. Do you think Jesus would rejoice in that?? Blessings, ~Pastor Lynn
"Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ" ~2 Corinthians 10:5
We are remarkable creations of God!! We are the only creatures that God created with a mind capable of choosing what our focal point will be about. This is a wonderful freedom but we must be careful how we use it. Why? Because what ever occupies our mind the most, whatever we focus on the most will become our god. The evil imaginations of worry and fear must be thrown out!! And anything, ANYTHING....that lifts itself up in your mind to replace God as #1 has got to go or at least brought down to it's rightful place!! Our goal today should be to bring everything we think about into the light of God's presence. Any thought that doesn't stand on it's own merit in the light of God's presence will be thrown out or altered to make it right. Guard your thoughts; good thoughts bring good words, good actions, and good direction. Be blessed, ~Pastor Lynn

WITHOUT A PREACHER
“How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? As it is written, ‘How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things.” (Rom. 10:14-15, KJV)
The first 35 or 40 minutes of the service was spent singing, and clapping, and even a little bit of dancing. When the band finished, and we sat down, the speaker went to the podium and said: GOOD MORNING! And we all replied in a loud voice: GOOD MORNING! Then we were instructed to go around the room and greet each other and spend time catching up. This lasted for about 10-15 minutes. Then the speaker instructed us to return to our seats. As we all finally got settled again the speaker said we were going to take up a collection; so the ushers went down the aisles and passed the plate so we could help support and keep the programs going. When this was finished, we stood up and sang another 2 or 3 songs; again clapping and dancing a bit. Once again, the speaker came to the podium and we all sat down. The speaker laid what appeared to be a Bible on the podium, he opened his note-book, closed his eyes, and said: “Friends, let us love others this week the way we have been loved. Let us show others love by doing good things in our community. Let us be accepting and tolerant of those who have different beliefs or live a different lifestyle than us. Let us remember that we are all on a journey and we must all find our own way to our destination. Let us give thanks”
And the speaker bowed his head, and we all did the same, and we all in unison said: “A-MEN” Then we all broke out into spontaneous applause and shouts of joy. The band came back to the stage and we stood up and sang and clapped, and danced for another 15-20 minutes. Then the speaker stood at the podium one more time and said: “Go in peace. Go in love. Go in acceptance and tolerance for our fellow man.” And one more time we all said: ‘A-MEN!”
As we left the building I thought I saw a young man sitting in the back row, looking very sad and discouraged and confused, like he was looking for answers but did not find them in the service. He got up and walked out, sadder and more confused than when he came. As I walked out of the building I saw what appeared to be a Man in a white robe, standing outside the building with His hand raised like He was knocking on the door. There were tears in His eyes as He stood there; while, one by one, the people walked right past Him, like they didn’t even see Him. And then I heard a voice saying: “How shall they call on Him of Whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of Whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?...how beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel…”

Dear Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, I come through your gates with thanksgiving and into your courts with Praise this morning!! Thank you, Lord, for all that you are going to do in the lives of my friends and loved ones today. Even though our day may not work out the way we planned, help us to remember that you are our Sovereign God and still in control; that your ways are higher and better than ours; that you can do more than we ever thought or dreamed of, and that you have good plans for us; plans to help us and not harm us; plans that you will make work in our favor even if we can't see it this day. Help us to abound more and more in living our lives to please you. Thank you for the protection of Faith, Love, and the hope of our salvation. Amen and Amen!!!

Proverbs 1:28-32, "I will not answer them when they cry for help.  Even though they anxiously search for me, they will not find me.  For they hated knowledge and chose not to fear the LORD.  The rejected my advice and paid no attention when I corrected them.  That is why they must eat the bitter fruit of living their own way.  They must experience the full terror of the [trail] they have chosen.  For they are simpletons who turn away from me--to death.  They are fools and their own complacency will destroy them.  But all who listen to me will live in peace and safety, unafraid of harm."  (NLT)

Notice those on the wrong trail (NLT actually words it "path").

     1)  they hate knowledge
     2)  they chose not to fear God
     3)  they reject His advice
     4)  they do not pay attention to correction.

Then look what happens:

     1)  they must eat the bitter fruit of their lifestyle
     2)  they must experience the terror of the way they have chosen
     3)  they are simpletons, fools
     4)  their complacency will destroy them.

They have gone of their own way for so long they cannot find the correct trail.  The search for it, but will be unable to find it.  Good advice for us to stay on the right trail; the path that God leads us on.
