Hi Family:-) Deborah here, and what a weekend I have just come thru!Went to ER friday morning and they loved me sooo much that they"requested the honor of my presence" for the next three days:-) I just spent three carazzzy days in the hospital. and I dooooo mean crazy. My first nite there, I was awoken very early in the morning by my door being opened. Thinking it was the nurse,I lifted my head, only to see the elderly man in the next room walking into MY room( scantly dressed). Then I heard the rooooar of the nurses,,,"NOOO,,STOP,,DONT GO IN THERE" . Hehehehe,,,bless his little heart! He was just dazed and confused. But,,, I found out a few things about me ,that I had "forgotten". Healthwise? I have a touch of arthritis in my back, no biggie,my BP was waaaayyy over stroke range,,now thats a biggie, so they "fixed" that,,andddd I am "borderline" diabetic. That has thrown me for a loop, because I have always been "fairly" health conciouse. So, I am out of the hospital now and taking today to wrap my little brain around the last few days and just what I need to do to change things. Also, I recently moved to Dallas Tx, and I know that this move was NOT a good move for me. shall I say,,"things were not as they seemed/were marketed". I know I want to serve the Lord,,just not sure what my next step should be. I want to "get back" to my country/farm roots. So please lift your sis up in prayer. Much appreciated. and Love you all. Deborah...and dont forget to pray for my little midnight buddy:-)

I would appreciate all of you holding me and my wife Linda up in prayer as we seek God's direction for our next step in ministry.  We are about to finish up our school time here at Fruitland Baptist Bible Institute and are searching for the church He would have us serve.  We have just six weeks left here.  My intent is to continue my studies on-line through Liberty University to attain my Bachelors Degree.  We have not drawn a circle around anyplace on the map we just want to be in the center of His will.  If any of you should know of a church that is searching for it's next pastor, we would appreciate the information.

Facing another hurdle in my preaching ministry.  It would seem I may have trodded on the toes of the denomination I belong to.  I need prayers to help me not to react in my normal fiery manner.  Jesus said I couldn't serve two masters.  When does His word overrule the rules made by man.  I know He also said, 'The sabbath was made for man but man was not made for the Sabbath'.  Lord right now I need to hear your voice.  Take away my pride so that it doesn't blur my choices in the future.  I am in your hands, as always.  Amen

Hello Everyone, As some of you know, I recently had to leave an abusive situation. So, much has happened (not only while that was going on but,,,) since that point in time. I now leave in another state. I had to take that step for the healing needed.  I know that God has His hand on this new year and on my future( because HE is already there:-) hehehe!!! I look forward to all that He has for me and my sons. I know that He is touching each and everyone here as well! Love you guys!!!   Deborah

As we are just hours from 2013, may we seek the Lord Jesus to what He has in store. Sometimes in can be scary or apprehensive to think of a new year or new things in general. However, Jesus told us to take no thought of tommorow. I saw a church sign one time that read, "Don't worry about tommorow, because Jesus is already there. One of my favorite John Wayne quotes is "Courage is being scared to death, but saddeling up anyway." Happy and blessed New Year everyone!

I do what I do because I believe to the point that I know that.....

God is doin' His job and He does it very well. (Praise God He doesn't want us to try to do His job)
If we do our job people will get saved.
It's God's job to convict us of our sin and draw us to Jesus through the power of His Holy Spirit.
It's our job to make friends and tell them the truth of God's word in Christlike love.
I've prayed that God would teach me how He saves folks. If you understand the difference between our job and God's job. If we stop frettin' 'cause we can't seem to git His job done for Him and just be joyful knowin' that all He's askin' us to do is treat folks the way we would want to be treated if we were still lost in sin. I wouldn't want to be judged but I would want a friend to tell me how to be saved.
Thanks a million to all y'all at ICCAN 4 th prayers and fellorship. Please pray 4 my mom, she's 81 and can't stay by herself right now. She's 4gettin' things and fallin' asleep with th stove on. So, I promised her we were not gonna leave her alone or put her in a nursin' home if I could help it. So I'm stayin' within drivin' distance of Lewis Road 4 now and God has given me a peace and contentment and I git th biggest kick outa makin' her laugh. Y'all please pray 4 me that I'll not git lazy or fat. LOLOLOL  Maybe I can use this time to develop a sense of humor and write some songs huh.

Lord, please help me to speak pleasant words to my family, friends, and all those around me. Let me speak words that are sweet to the soul and bring health to those that hear me. Help me to preach the Gospel of Christ in this way and let the Power and Authority belong only to you. ~Pastor Lynn

"Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones." Proverbs 16:24
