Rebirth of Cross Timbers Cowboy Church

In late 2014 Cross Timbers Cowboy Church closed in Butler, IL and I took a job as pastor of a small Baptist Church in Virginia, IL. The church had been losing members for years as it had a pretty shonky reputation and the members decided to close it down, leave the SBC and sell the church and parsonage back in April. The 5 remaining members decided to still meet in the parsonage with me as the pastor and last week I talked them into not selling the church or parsonage to an outsider but to let us lease both buildings for 6 months with the view of buying them if all goes well.
So after we fix the building up, get new flooring and power/gas/water reconnected we will reopen Cross Timbers Cowboy Church in Virginia.
We don't have a lot of land and literally no money but it is a start. We shall see what God does.
