Spreading the love of Jesus...the Cowboy Way!

It's funny how the human heart is...full of love and joy while often times anxiousness and longing at the same time. We are such complex beings...however, He is so faithful to instill faith and belief when we sit with Him in the quiet place...away from it all. It is in the times of deepest need that we learn trust. The Lord has always required me to walk in faith..many needs have not been met until after I walk through the water...much of it has been deep water. There have been times when I have begged Him to stay comfortable when He has called me to an unfamiliar place. There have been times when a good Drama Queen fit threatened I would run away...at least until I came to my senses and realized there is NO where to hide...(hellooooo)....

I have been thinking about the many times we must choose what we DO NOT FEELlike choosing. I was in a crises of belief a few weeks ago and was having to rehearse God's promises out loud...when He began to cause my prayers to become a song. As each word was sung, He swelled me with His faith...His belief..His heart! You see His Word is mind altering and life changing. In a moment, He can breathe life! Faith! BELIEF! However, we must make a choice to trust. We must decide He is the giver of all things, the creator of all things, the dream maker, the money lender, the need filler, the life changer. There will be times of fear no doubt. For He will call us to things we have no skill for, no contacts for, no help for, and no provision for. It is so we will finally see that He alone is whom we must choose to follow. I pray you will begin to sing these words in your circumstance..for He is worthy...and faithful...

And Yes it would be easier to just run away...or to stay at times when He calls...but that would lead to a life of No Joy! No Adventure! No Peace! So, would you really be living at all? CHOOSE TO BELIEVE..

I Choose to Believe
In What I Can’t See
I Choose to Love
When Hate Would be so easy

I Choose faith..
Faith to walk away
To an unfamiliar place
Help me choose faith

Chorus:
Cause it would be easy to just run away
And it would be easy to beg you to stay

But I’m Choosin to go
Even if I go alone
Oh I promised you I would follow
So won’t you help me to go?

Break…
Chorus:
Cause it would be easy to just run away
And it would be easy to beg you to stay

But when I choose fear
Would you kindly lend an ear
Bring me back through all the tears
Lord when I choose fear

oh bring me back from all the tears
When I choose fear…
