Please tell us about how you are associated with or involved in the cowboy church/ministry community.
I have been ministering through music for 15+ years. Growing up around music, I have fond memories of dancing and singing to various music genres around the age of 3 when I use to dance to my maternal grandfather's (Red Copeland: former fiddle player with Bob Wills) family playing various musical instruments at reunions, etc.
At the age of 8, I accepted Jesus Christ into my heart and sang her my first song at Greenville Acres Baptist Church in Odessa, Texas. I am currently a member of Olive Branch Baptist Church. I want to give all honor/glory to my Heavenly Father. I am His daughter and I love His son, Jesus, more than anything. In considering all the blessings God has given me, I am thankful that He chose the perfect family for me. I am the daughter of Wayne and Cindy Mosley. I am married to Kenneth Crocker, 21 years. We have three children Cynthia, Kenneth and Michael. I am also blessed with an amazing, wonderful brother Butch Mosley. He is married to Dianna Mosley. They have three children Cecil, Stanton and Lauren. Finally, I have two dogs Roscoe and Chica.
I embarked on my professional music career in 1996 when I began taking voice lessons and singing at various music venues in Central Texas. In 1998, I was honored with the award of being chosen Female Solo Artist on the Branson On the Brazos Gospel Show in Waco, TX. In 2002, I rededicated m life to the Lord and began singing with the gospel trio "Walking by Faithâ. While with WBF, I began to co-write songs with my husband, WBF, and vocal coach Bridgette Huffhines. In 2009, my trio (Walking by Faith) was nominated Music Group of the Year with Music Artist Association of Central Texas and Trio of the Year with Gospel Music Artist Association of Texas. In March 2012, my trio disbanded because our alto was diagnosed with Light Strain Myeloma. In May 2012, I became an artist with Tate Music Group. My first album released on May 28, 2013.
I have had many opportunities to minister at various churches; including cowboy, baptist, methodist, and non-denominational. I have had the opportunity to minister in the great states of South/North Carolina, Alabama, Tennessee, Ohio, and my home state of Texas. I have performed at fairs, festivals, class/family reunions, oprys, benefits, churches, etc. God has blessed me with the opportunities of opening for Jeff & Sheri Easter, Barber Brothers Quartet, Messengers Quartet, Glory Train Quartet, and Ransomed Trio. He has also allowed me to grace the stages of Rodeo City Opry, Wylie Opry, Gibson Showcase Cafe/Radisson Hotel in Nashville, Mary Fae Jackson's Gospel Music Network, and INSP Network in North Carolina. While my ministry endeavors have been beyond my expectations, I want to thank Tate Music Group for signing me with their label. Furthermore, many thanks to Don Johnson (executive producer), Brandon McManus (engineer), Brianna Webb (A/R Development), Jo Reese (marketing rep) and the rest of Tate Music group for investing their time and resources in helping me to have such a blessed album and aiding to further the kingdom of their Heavenly Father by reaching souls for Jesus Christ!
