- Please tell us about how you are associated with or involved in the cowboy church/ministry community.
- B. Keith Chadwell started High Country Ministry over ten years ago. At that time Keith formed a Western Gospel Band and began to minister the word of God through both teaching and Western Gospel music. High Country Ministry has ministered in the rural areas of Eastern Oregon, Western Idaho, Eastern Washington and in Western Montana.
Ministry included; Rodeo Bible camps, Rodeo Church Services, community gatherings, rural churches and fellowships, special rural community gatherings, etc...
High Country Ministry helped to re-start the Hermiston, Oregon Cowboy Church with DeWayne and Harlene Rogers and ministered there monthly for several years thereafter.
High Country Ministry also organized and sponsored a rural leadership conference and subsequently a Hermiston Cowboy Church ranch retreat at Keith and Barbara Chadwell’s home ranch, in Eastern Oregon, before it sold.
Currently High Country Ministry has a web site ministry at www.highcountryministry.com where Keith’s Christian teachings, books and Western Gospel music are featured.
High County Ministry continues to be responsive to ministry requests as God directs. Currently, Keith and Barbara Chadwell are; High Country Ministry. - How did you find out about ICCAN?
