Howdy, my name is Amos H. Bond and was born and raised in western Oklahoma on a dry land Dairy Farm. Went to Texas Tech University and was a member of the Rodeo Association. There I got addicted to riding Bareback Broncs, hard liquor and a beautiful cowgirl. Well the Dean decided the on our third visit it was to be my last. So, I joined the Army rather than tell my parents.
Fast forward to today I am 63 years old, a widower and have been given a vision. I’m going to return to my roots. I love just being a country boy and rodeos! Also, I have responded to a missionary calling January 7, 2014 at a Teen Challenge event. I was going thru formal training with the Assembly of God and was a 4.0+ honor student. In the pre-certification background check it showed that my late wife had divorced me, and we never saw the need to remarried legally. Sense Jane was already in Heaven there was no way to fix my divorce status. I got thrown face down in the dirt. I’m back in the saddle NOW!
I will be completing a 6mo. Work contract in January and at that point will be retiring. It is my hope to be a part of a Mistrial team on one of the 2020 rodeo circuits.
