Howdy Travis...Thanks for the gift pard...I pray God speaks to your spirit my friend..often what the Lord has for us to do is right before us in some part of what we are already doing... I pray you know that the Lord is always ready and willing to speak peace to our hearts...just keep seeking him and listen with your heart...ask and it shall be opened unto you...seek and you will find it....blessings..Bro. Steven
Thank you for the gift, Travis. God will open up your ministry to you, all you need to do is be willing. Welcome to Cowboy Church. No instrument required. ;-)
Howdy Travis..You went to a good cowboy church..I have preached there and I will be performing and preaching there on May 10th..I will look forward to meeting you then.
I have helped start cowboy churches in many places and would be happy to do all I can to help you start one up there...it will take a little time and good planning but it sure can be done if it is really what you want to do...pray on it......Steven
You're thinking of staring a cowboy church? There are folks in ICAN that are church planters. Maybe one of them will help you in that department. I'm a worship leader. I can help with musical suggestions if you ever need them. From browsing through comments, look like help has already been offered. Very cool.
Ok, friend, fill me in as I'm new here. I see a gift, what does that mean, and along with that what is the signficance of the red ribbon. Pardon my ignorance.
Since you were the first to send me a "gift" thought I should follow up and try and find something out about you. Notice you live in Clinton, MO. I've been through that area a few times. I have been living in San Antonio for the past 16 years. Like you I'm still trying to find my way around this site.
Sounds like you're in the midst of making decisions. There was an old song by Redd Harper that said, "Each step I take I know that He will guide me...."
From what I've read, the first consideration of your decisions must be based on what God wants and what is best for your family. Hang in there and TRUST!
Thought it was time for our trails to cross again. How is the employment situation progressing? I've found over the years that sometimes there has to be sacrifice to put beans on the table. A person who wants the "cowboy life" has to realize it starts in the heart with their trust in the Lord, and taking care of family and putting self behind. (Oops, sorry, don't mean to be a-preachin'.)
We're looking at a hot, dry summer here in Texas. Once you mentioned coming this way, but if you plan on leaving the hills there in Missouri be prepared for some thirsty boots to come your way.
