Please tell us about how you are associated with or involved in the cowboy church/ministry community.
A person who loves music and life. Tonja was raised in a Christian home with parents who took her to church. She had dreams and aspirations of being a singer. Thru many trials and heartbreaks, she felt at times so far from God. But God was not far from her. Music would be her escape. One Wednesday night in a little church, Tonja found a relationship with Christ. He changed her life and direction with relationships that used to be a failure. Now, is solidified and strengthened by her relationship with Jesus Christ. God began working miracles in Tonja’s life and the Lord began anointing her music. He has opened doors and
given her a purpose to sing and tell others that Christ is the answer. At one time she lacked self worth, but God gave her the confidence to sing and share her testimony. She has been invited to sing in local churches and on national television. Other ways that she has shared about her Lord Jesus Christ, is teaching Sunday School, singing in the choir, and the leading of a women’s ministry. Tonja has found that she can do all things thru Christ Jesus her Lord. She has a very deep burden for single mothers who are struggling with relationships, and others that struggle with drugs and alcohol. Her songs reflect what God has laid on her heart for a testimony that the Lord is the same yesterday, today, and forever. In a world that changes, Jesus is still the same- he wants to save, heal, deliver, and fill others with His spirit.

I can do all things through Christ which strengthened me. Phil. 4:13

The inspiring part of her music is that she writes about her life experiences and God is her answer through everything. She hopes and prays that her music will inspire others. Giving them a desire to worship the Lord Jesus Christ and to turn their hearts over to Him fully and completely.
