  Back in the days when I was growing up in the 40's and 50's the "Preachers" preached Hell fire and Brimstone~In todays generation you don't hear very many preach that way!   God bless you~~ we must be born again but we don't hear that much anymore either!  That is why your Song touched me so deeply~~I can still hear my Mother praying for me...I still her singing the old Religious songs~Course her and my Dad have been gone for many years...but they are waiting for me by Gods Golden Gate!

Thank you, Joyce! I love to hear testimony of a life changed by Christ. God is SO GOOD! And praise God He doesn't leave us the way we were. That evidence of a changed life is evidence that He has saved you and placed His Holy Spirit within you! Too often today's preachers have changed the Gospel to "say this prayer and you'll be saved" and we no longer preach Jesus' Gospel "you MUST be born again"! Salvation without regeneration doesn't exist!

You are a young man and I love the song so very much~~I'm an old 75 year old women and I used to be just the way the song goes....But God came into my life many years ago and he is with me everyday now!  I praise him every day and Thank my God for giving me the things I need!
