To the bands/ singers/ songwriters/ artists:

I'm curious if you all would share where you record your projects and the cost if you're willing. I'm trying to compile a list of studios that are Christian country/ country gospel oriented or, at least, offer the option. I'd also like to list some great session players available for this genre of music.

Thanks for your help!

How do horses confront? When? Do they get angry or hold grudges? Why do they confront? Interesting to ponder their style of confrontation and rebuke... it looks just like the way Jesus taught us to confront or rebuke and with the same desired outcome... RESTORATION of UNITY... THRIVING...SUCCESS IN LIFE. Jesus came to confront... He came to restore and save the lost... He never looked away... from the bad or the good. What can we learn from comparing the two styles... Horses have one focus...for the herd to thrive. The horse is the only animal that is 'taxed' by the US government for being too successful. They take the young wild mustangs and sell them to keep the numbers down. Wild horses are thriving in the face of shrinking territory and hostile environments. What can we, the Church, learn about Confrontation and Unity from the Wild Mustangs? Interesting thought... Jesus confronted the positive as well as the negative... He confronted people about what they were doing right! (The centurian) He highlighted faith as well as sin. He never passed up the opportunity to confront... ***But... He also made it clear that only one's qualified in their own lives should confront. First check your own heart and fruit; are you a living example of the fruits of the spirit? If not; it's not your place to confront others. Horses only confront when they are able to do it. They have earned the right. Any horse can, but only those who are mature and respected by the herd will act. Tell me what you've wittnessed concerning correction in the herd and what we see taught in the Word.

When God called Moses to lead that great host of people, Moses said “Lord I’m not eloquent, I’m slow to speak” and God gave him a question, God said to him “Moses who made man’s mouth?” So when you have an excuse, remember that God made you an eye, he knows all about it. So when we have excuses about not coming to Christ or not doing His work, they won’t hold up. God was so wonderful about it, he said “Moses I made your mouth, but I tell you what, because you say you’re slow to speak, I’m…

So when we have excuses about not coming to Christ or not doing His work, they won’t hold up. God was so wonderful about it, he said “Moses I made your mouth, but I tell you what, because you say you’re slow to speak, I’m going to send your brother Aaron and he’s going to be your speech maker.” So God has always taken care of those excuses and has an answer for all of them. Someone says “Well, I’d like to go out visiting, but I just can’t do it,” but here comes a sales job that involves visiting and you know all of a sudden they find out that if they make a sale, its worth a hundred dollars. Now, they’re knocking on all the doors.

Someone says “I’d like to be a good steward, I know God teaches tithing and I know where the blessings come from, but I just can’t do it.” But all of a sudden, here comes something they want and the figures start to look better. Pretty soon they’re able to purchase that item. It’s pretty interesting how we handle things when we want something.
God's Unspeakable Gifttag:iccanlink.ning.com,2011-12-08:6284697:Topic:890472011-12-08T22:58:20.383ZJan Harbuck, Network Managerhttps://iccanlink.ning.com/profile/JanHarbuck

No other person has ever touched the world in quite the way Jesus did. The Gift of all gifts, Jesus is truly the Unspeakable Gift sent by God the Father. He came as a babe in a manger and will return as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. What do you do with a gift? You must first receive it. Then, in order to receive the benefit of the gift, it must be used according to its purpose. Why did God give the Gift? How was it given? And what was the purpose?

No other book of the New Testament gives us these answers and records Jesus’ birth and teaching in quite the way Matthew does. Built around five major addresses that Jesus gave His followers, Matthew records the essence of Christ’s message, the core commands that He not only wanted His people to live by, but to spread to “all the nations...teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you” (Matt. 28:19-20). Thus, Matthew contains marching orders for all of Christ’s followers — including those of us who call Him Lord in this day. He sends us (by using our Gift) into the world to influence lives, reflect His ways, His love, and His values.

How appropriate, then, that Matthew leads off the New Testament. All of the books that follow are God’s Word, but Matthew sets the pace. It highlights “The Unspeakable Gift” and gives us the agenda of our Lord: “all things that I have commanded you.”

So this Christmas, why not gather the family around and read the Christmas story from the Book of Matthew. If it is not already a family tradition, why not start this year.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
JESUS IS THE STILL THE REASON FOR THE SEASON!
